I knew that car wouldn't last long...LoL

By now the Si could have been tuned correctly making some nice power and it could have had a sick suspension set-up under it.

Seriously, what would be so wrong with tracking the Mustang? Yea it's clean but what's the worst that could happen...possible some rock chips on the front bumper, bend up a few suspension parts...it's the name of the game. You build it, you track it, you break it and you fix it.

I wish I had a beater while I owned the FG2. OR else I would still own it.

Tracking the mustang? I'd probably kill myself. I'm in a position where I can make a few grand on it so why not.

Didn't you have the EG when you had the Si? I think I remember you complaining about it running bad just before you sold the Si.

I think you should send me the EG and some money and let me build you a track car

bleh. if i had to do it all over agin i would go b18c1. h22 is nice, but you dont gain any max hp but you lose AC, sleeves ARE FRM WHICH SUCKS ASS, and everything is cramped.

gsr with boost mani that keeps AC. boom done.

h22 is ok, but i regret it if thats worth anything to you.

Post the sale of the cobra, I'm looking at spending like 5kish for a track car, I think you would want much more than that. Also leaning more towards a n/a set-up as my plans are many weekend of a lot of vtec! ha! However, moderate boost and a laskey motor is pretty bulletproof.

The tq is nice with the h22. I'm not necessarily overly concerned with a/c on this car. Again, not looking for a boost application per say. I wouldn't be opposed to a b18c one bit. More of what someone is willing to trade or sell after I get rid of the cobra.

George decided he doesn't want to spend the money. So no deal on that car.

TQ with the H22 is nice but there are better choices IMO. I would say the better choice for all motor would be the K-Series. I mean the K-Series with bolt-ons and tuning will put down 200+whp where as to get over the 200whp mark with the H-Series you need to dig into the head.

Honestly though, a B-Series swapped car with a nice turbo set-up under the hood could be a terror on the track. No sick 600-700whp drag car set-up something nice on the small side like a GT2871 which will give you a nice early spool and won't be harsh on the motor but should still be able to put down some nice numbers (350-400whp). That kind of power in the right chasiss, with a nice suspension set-up and good braking system...would be hell of a lot of fun.

yeah it's pretty easy to get a K20 to the 250whp mark all motor. that would be a lot of fun for road racing and since it would be all motor and no power adders then it keeps you in a less competitive class.
