I vote Eric gets an AP1 S2000, track ready out of the box there's a company that makes new seat rails for it for tall gangly people still adjustable too.

There is no Elitism that comes with an S2k. Now an ITR, yes.

Always have and always will love the Type-R...if you could find one in good shape, it something you should pick up.

ITR I guess if you want to overpay for a 10 year old integra with 5-lug get a GS-R and with all the money you'll save it'll be track ready

they're cool, just too much. if you really wanted a 100% track only car just import a cheap RHD one, you'll just have to trailer the car to the track and back then you can get an ITR or CTR cheap

I've got my eyes on one. The owner of P1 Automotive, one of the highest reputable shops on H-T is selling his. He has worked a deal for me to replace rings, t-belt, and some other stuff basically at just the cost for me. Compression and leakdown is righton the money. Car would be basically perfect post minor rebuild. We'll see.

The ITR Club is a really tight nit mature group of guys that mostly all enjoy road coursing their cars. Would be fun to be apart of. Plus the ITR expo is coming up in July here. A couple hundred of them renting out Autobahn country club for the weekend = win

You basically would be castrated for your GSR statement. lol

Re: 4th Annual, Official 2010 Dragon Meet Thread, April 29th - May 2nd

You can buy an build anything really to be a beastly track car. Hell he could buy a CRX or an EF hatch and with the money he would have spent on a GSR that's in decent shape, he can take that left over money and use it for go fast parts to build something that would probably rape a stock Type-R.

It's just, it feels nice to own basically like a piece of history. The car in stock form is a great performer and it was a very limited build. I kind of get the same feeling with my Si though not as limitted of a build as the Type-R and though just about every Civic that came out my year look like mine wether they be EX's or DX's, it just feels nice to know that I was lucky enough to pick up one of the originals. OK i'm babbling, i'm tired...LoL...but you get what I mean.

No and that's the same mentality I have. It is a cool piece of history to own especially being the fan of Honda that I am. Sure you can build anything to be faster than anything, the nostalgia that comes with the ITR is something you don't get with many other cars.

P.S. How fun does this look: http://www.itrexpo.com/index.php

lol, if they don't know that the ITR is a just a factory modded GS-R that's their problem actually a GS-R has a sunroof, so they really just have a modded Integra RS

again they're cool, just not worth the money unless you get a really good deal. and yeah they're owned by older guys, young guys don't have the money or know that you don't have to spend that much for 195hp in an integra

Re: 4th Annual, Official 2010 Dragon Meet Thread, April 29th - May 2nd

ok heres the skinny right now for the dragon. the actual road is open 7 days a week from 8-8 up until mile marker 11. from then on its closed still. doesnt matter for us as we never went that far north on it.

im excited. most fun i ever have on a road is all the mountain roads and blue ridge parkway!

that's cool, like you said we usually don't go that far down the Dragon anyway.

the blue ridge is a lot of fun, a lot faster I've gotta make a little checklist of things to do before the trip. definitely gotta swap out the brake fluid, probably change the oil too. even though the oil is pretty new it's a tough trip
