the hatch is yours if you want to buy it, block needs a honing and new pistons the plan right now is that Ant will drive up in the S2000, I'll roll on up in the CRX, hopefully Mark will go up too and ride along in one of the whips.

bring the bubble! the more people show up the more fun it will be. just make sure you put some milage on the car before the meet so you can find any little problems ahead of time. it would suck to have to try and fix things on the road

once we get closer I'm going to put together a spare parts / tool bin for the trip. couple extra supercharger belts, tools, make sure my spare tire is good, that kinda stuff. maybe we'll get a list together and post it on the first page with the rest of the info, then anyone can look and see if there's something they're forgetting.

- Check tread on tires
- Check tire pressure
- Check or change oil
- Check water level & hoses in engine bay for condition
- Make sure all exterior plastics/metals are secure
- Check amount of brake pad left. Change pads if needed
- Check brake fluid
- If your brake fluid is dark or hasn't been changed in a while, change it
- Check your wheel bearings & tie rod ends for looseness

I know i'm bringing...

- Tools
- Oil
- Oil Filters
- Spark Plugs
- AntiFreeze/Water
- Vacum line
- Hose Clamps
- Zip Ties (hey, they're the best thing for a quick fix)

And some other things that I am probably forgetting at the moment. I will be bringing more than enough and most of the parts will/should fit just about all the cars coming so just incase you forget, I will have it

On the way there I'm going to make sure we stop for dinner at this Super Chinese buffet. We stopped there last time and it was seriously the best chinese I have ever had. Huge buffets!
With that said a little cash is good to have in your pocket too. Although, just about everywhere takes visa now, you just never know. I'm hoping to forget cash. So hopefully Al will pick me up. lol

chinese food is good as long as you don't get the hershey squirts halfway through the gap!

a little cash is a good thing to have just in case. when hurricane wilma hit I didn't have any cash on me, that sucked when all of a sudden we became a cash only society

eric could tell you for sure, I think I remember him saying the gap is right on the NC SC border.

ehh yeah colombia is a little ways from where I live and where we'll end up at, at the gap. You should probably work it out where you take a couple days off before the trip and stay down there. Then maybe meet up with the caravan from FL as they come up north on i-95 or something

Hey Rich, as I was posting in another thread tonight I thought of something.

When it comes closer I think it would be a good idea to use those sweet admin privileges and send out a mass email about the event.
