I'm on my friend's R6, we've got a pack including a GSXR110, ZX-9, and a GSXR750. We get onto this highway that we usually blast through.. I see the guys on the GSXR1100 and ZX-9 give the 3,2,1 GO.. and off they went..

We're trailing behind them on the R6, and my friend is behind us on the 750 (newbie).. we lose sight of the guys in front.. and I suddenly hear cop sirens..NOT AGAIN!!! and I knew for a fact we were just going 155 (topped out in 6th..) uh oh.

I look behind to see the guy on the 750 waving frantically the 'keep it moving' sign.. so we FLY around the off-ramp and give the head of the pack the heads up (pig-sig)... None of us waited around.. I then hear the cop take off towards the other highway THANK YOU GOD. We split the pack and meet up at the same place..

Upon arriving at my friends house, we're all still trying to figure out what the hell happened! The two guys in front never heard or saw a cop.. I heard him, and our newbie friend JUST pulled in..

Apparently the 1100 and zx-9 flew by the cop at at LEAST 175, he probably saw that on his radar, dropped his doughnut and spun around to try and catch them..(thus the burnout still visible)

We then flew by on the R6 but we never saw him... (if you think about it, it was probably a matter of seconds...) and my poor friend on the GSXR 750 was as good as toast as the cop started in our direction....

He said " I'm flying up on the cop at 135.. Like HELL I was slowing down!! So I swirved around the cop and seconds later we hit the off-ramp and jolted!!" Ha HA!!! More power to the newbie!!

Moral of the story: Don't ever slow down.. ;) j.k there's a time and a place for everything. LOL

I know you guys have some good ones.. OUT w/ 'em!

he he, no helicopter, no stop :D

I haven't outright run from the cops, but I have seen one about to make a u-turn after me on the highway and taken the next exit :D and proceeded to take every back road home.

a guy I know was running from the cops in his turbo, gs-r, hatch. he was going redline 5th at 155mph but the helicopter kept the ol' spotlight on his ass and they caught him. lots of lawyers later he got a licence again.

kinda funny, I used to work at the motorola plant that made all of those radios. always made me nervous when the customer name on the box would be CIA, FBI, DEA, Secret Service

for some reason we always seemed to drop the ones going to the local police  , not on purpose or anything, it just happened ;)

How fast can those 15's go? Or is that classified? lol...

yea, it's classified.... like the presidents address!!! mach 2.5+ if you want mph convertion, you'll have to give me a bit to look it up. needless to say they are fast. still the fastest fighter we have. in fact it's the only one with a power to wieght ratio good enough to be able to climb stright up and KEEP ACCELERATING until it runs out of O2 to burn. (then it stalls and plumits back toward earth....)

well, mach 1 ~ 660mph, so figure the math from there.

and mach 2.5 is the fastest they admit too ;) you know it really goes faster. like the sr-71 blackbird has the guenness record for being the fastest at mach 3.5. but I saw a show about it and the military guy said it's "cruising" speed is mach 3.5, he he, so you know that thing goes a lot faster. that's like me saying I cruise on the highway at 90mph, but top speed is redline 5th at 150mph.

the sr-71 is crazy fast! it burns fuel so quickly it must refuel after take off!

LOL, actually the SR-71 pulled Mach7 (to my understanding) at 80,000ft(sub-orbit?!)..
Cruising speed probably at 55,000ft... crazy... I was stationed on a Naval Air Base (for training) and asked a LOT of questions.. lol. Hoo-Ra.

Can you add top-end speed thru upgrades? Any in particular? I've noticed Scooby doesn't have the top-end like others I've driven... rut-ro.

kinda funny, because the plane expands so much at high speed/altitude (hot metal expands, the whole plane actaully gets a couple feet longer and wider during flight  ). because of this, they actaully had to design the panels with gaps, so during flight they expand and seal up the plane.

but while it's on the ground it leaks almost all of it's fuel onto the ground, that's the main reason it has to refuel almost imediately after takeoff. kinda crazy when you think about it, definately no smoking in that plane hanger!

the wrx is like camuman's 1.8T, you're gonna need a bigger turbo to really get the top end screaming. the stock one is really designed for daily driving, low / mid range power.

negitive on the mach7. that is NOT an offical number. as you guys may or may not know, the speed of "mach" changes with altitude. so if it's sub orbit, mach will be MUCH slower. carful with that info cris. remember you are not autherized to relase EVERYTHING you heard in training/school. the part about the fuel cause of the gaps is correct, and so is the fact that i must use "burner" tho get off the ground. here a lil trivia question for ya: anyone know what a ram jet is, and why i might ask? ;) :D

LOL.. like I'm going to know specifics?! I took an oath, just as you did, I know what I can and can't say...

But that data was by word of mouth, and whoever told it to me obviously wasn't going to give me classified info AND you're telling me it's not legit SO... whatever.. I play by the rules, remember that. What's your rank anyways? Butterbars wouldn't give two-shyts about what I just said.. just an observation..

Ram-jet?? you got me on this one...
