actually, the new one dyno'd 26 hp and 21 torque higher than the 2002, which dyno more than the 2000-2001 S2K's.

they're saying the gearing is 4% lower in gears 1-4 with 5th and 6th being the same. I don't think a 4% difference will make you have to go into third to hit 60. they're saying under 6 seconds 0-60, that would be hard to do with 2 shifts.

SAME HP more torque,double syncro rings, headlights, taillights, wing, steering wheel, interior,

they actually put 240hp to the ground dyno tested the older ones only put 200- 210 if lucky.

yeah, honda is only advertising more torque, but it's got more power all around, pretty pimp :cool: if I didn't have any debt right now I think I'd be shopping :D

the lower #'s are from a 2002 S2000 with a CAI, and the 2002-2003's make more power than the 2000-20001's. the higher line is a stock 2004.

I hate the dynopack type dyno's, but they dyno'd the 02 and the 04 on the same dyno, so the numbers are comparable.

Well, when I was in Miami I did have 5 hours of fun with that car in 2001 until the popo arrested me, f*cking cops.....
I can imagine the 2004 model rocks even more with the new engine! Dammit, I have to test drive one again soon! The only thing that keeps me from driving that car at the moment is that I have had such a bad luck with that car that I am scared to get behind the wheel of one again!

Yeah when i was heading up to Titusville I saw a 2004 s2000.It was red.Really PiMp.Some old guy was driving it.what a waste of a s2000

I wonder if the car is still alive and made it without constantly having mechanical problems....

In the end who cares. All the cars I rented in Miami I ragged on a bit, the vette I took to 166mph, the stangs i raced them, did donuts and wrecked one and the 330ci beemer just did not like clutch dumps. In all it was fun though. i wouldn't do stuff like that to my own car or a friends but come on, most people rag on rentals anyways! I know you did rich!
