I'm just wondering what you guys know/think about the Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS. Personally i really like them. yes i know they are n/a, but still awd is really sweet. my buddy is going to look at one, and i'm just gauging some opinions on them.

i know a guy that has one and autocrosses with it, loves it, handels great, decent power....
there kind of expensive though, id rather get a turbo awd DSM for the money. although you could swap a newer turbo wrx engine in the 2.5 rs, but its a bitch to do cuz of the weird ass wiring in those cars.....
dont know id buy one, id certianly consider it if i had the money, but i think theres other cars out there that may be a little better.......

there manual trannies in that car are like glass......thats really the only thing that stopped me from STRONGLY considering doing a pretty sick turbo 2.5RS.

well that and the difficulty of the swap, mechanicly its preaty easy but electricly its a nightmare, ive herd the wire colors on the harnesses can vary even WITHIN a model year! yikes....would be preaty tight though <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::cool:-->

My ex had one, a two door one. I really wanted one, but she let me drive it and it was like driving a civic....there was just no pull. Great handling, though. I also wanted to get one.
Josh, who's considering gettin one?
