OK. its 12 at night and im drivin home from friends house...this is the scene: Im drivin 45 in a 45. lol hard to believe but i had a cop RIGHT behind me. So im cruisin goin through an intersection and BAM i get T-boned from a damn mexican runnin a red light and i spin 114 feet! Completing an almost perfect 360. By the time i stop spinning and focus i see that the mexican Takes off! <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif" alt="Eek" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::eek:--> He guns it. I guess he didnt see the cop right behind me, so the cop guns it and jsut my luck to there was an off-duty state highway patrol dude right beside me. Wow he was in a van and eventually threw his van in front of the car to make him stop! it was insane, i thought for sure they were goin to wreck!..Ok im trying to make this as short and simple as possible..So it ends up he is driving his friends car and the car has no insurance under it. They impound the car take the liscense plate off and the guy walk s out free! DAMN LAWS!. So because my car is paid off all i have is Liabilty coverage. No coverage for uninsured motorists! ARghhh. So now im stuck with this gaping whole in the side of my car approx 2g's worth of damage for some damn worthless piece of crap mexican!

All the finger prints= tons of fricken pollen on car and me puttin spare tire on, argghh broke one wrench while doin it!

Thats the only good thing about MD they have un-insured motorists as part of the state required coverage, so if your situation did happen,all you pay is a 250 deductible. To tell you the truth I would do pretty much everything possible to give him what he deserves. If he does run to Mexico because he has to appear in court, he's gonna most likely go back to less of a life. He is probably here in an attempt to make more money and have a better life. So in effect I suppose thats justice served there. And if he goes through the court system he's gonna lose a lot of money, or get a court appointed attorney so really if you file a law suite your most likely gonna win because you will "out lawyer" him so its gonna be justice served for you. He'll get charged for what he should be, or he'll have to drop a lot of money, or drop a lot of money and get charged for what it seems he deserves. Given what you said it seems he was trying to get outta it, and he knew what was going on, I say go for it and try and bust him.

the funny thing is, that is a normal truck around here...hahaha going to the grocary store you see at least 5 of those and about 5 that are bigger..usaully 6-10inch suspesion and 3 inch body lift is common...hahaha
