its nice but if its a ford engine then i wouldnt buy it. although ford really never builds such 4 cylinder engines as 2.3 liters. btw some food for thought, i know a mazda 6 that already has 1,000hp on that 2.3.

im guessing its a ford block though cuz ford had a turbo 2.3 liter mustang in the 80's, the N/A version was also there but it put out a weak 80hp. id still take it thought even if it is a bastard car. sounds liek it handels like its on rails

Yeah, In the US it is sexy to see a woman drive stick but here every woman does. The driving exam here cost almost 800 Euros and it is hard as **** and it is mandatory with stick, no auto! Freaktimmah you're right about that but auto's are becomming a bit more popular here, but more in the expensive cars!

yup wreckless was there too when I took one out for a test drive along with my Mom, mainly all she said was "OH RYAN...RYAN RYAN...OH GEEZE". But she was happy when she got to drive it and did pretty good on with the auto-manual. I'd really like to see her get one when the lease is up on the GC. It was the auto-manual version V6. Very nice power, it was really quick and I was impressed. VERY nice bose system, great steering response. I pushed it through some off/on ramps and its handling was superb, it really is a great car for the price.

ummm yeah why do you seem suprised? a Mazda 6 will own an SI in acceleration. The 5 speed V6 runs a 15.3 in the 1/4 from some magazine. Basically with some decent rubber and a driver that actually knows the car well you can knock a couple tenths off that time as well.

there are both 4 and 6 cylinder models of the Mazda 6, you need to do some research my friend. And What in the hell are you talking about, a turbo in the trunk......WTF. Also, the newest Ecplises are not turbo, the last turbo year from them was 99. And the last Talon was in 98.

yeah the new eclipses suck, its basicaly the sister car to the chrystler sebring, only the sebrings look better. my mom has one(sebring), its not bad but its not really what id call fast either. its too bad really, the eclipses were cool cars back in the day, especialy the 1st gens but it looks like mistu/mopar went for a diffrent crowd with this generation oh well....

hahah badass, just doing my part

also 1G DSMs are a stronger block then the 2Gs. I can't give you all the info but I know the intake ports are larger and the oil injectors/port thingys ( I know can't think of the name) flow much more, are larger, and lubricate more than 2Gs. Thats why 2Gs crankwalk is because sometimes they can clog and you won't get oil and then its all over. My friend Tim (wickedlilboost) who comes on the chats sometimes can give you guys the entire rundown. Last time I was home he was going off for like 5 minutes straight about the differences and what parts are better and what parts are weaker with the engines. But to get the best engine, your going to have to take parts from both.

i just rember reading a lot of mixed reviews about em a while back when i was car shoping. a couple people needed to have engines replaced ect. there were some known problems with the 1st gen, i think they had most of em worked out by 93 though when they did the restyle. cuz my mom had a 93 laser (same thing) and had no problems with it. but hers was a normaly aspriated model. dont know if there were issues with the turbo or not. they were cool cars though, especialy the 93 and 94 models . that was back when japense sports cars actually looked like sports cars. low long front, fast back, very

oh word, I don't know of any turbo kits available for the new Eclipses. Personally I think thats pretty gay and if he wanted a turbo Eclipse he should have bought a 2G GSX, thats pretty damn stupid if you ask me.
