I got beat by a beautiful chipped A-6

A gorgeous silver A-6 is in front of me making a left turn.
We turned left from Rinaldi up Porter Ranch drive for those who know the area, and lined up next to each other at the stop sign past Best Buy.
Empty road up hill. I nodded to the guy and he aknowledged me back. Damn!!! awd rules, he is 1/2 car in front, we grabbed second at the same time and he missed it and I caugh up but wait!!!! the A-6 STARTS TO PULL ON ME.....
we ran it all the way up to Sessnon and he beat me by 2 cars.
We pulled over and chatted for a while, nice guy. He says the car is chipped and has exhaust and 320+hp. I believe it, what a beautiful ride, I want it At first the guy said,, "what is that??" "pretty fast, most guys can't hang with me"
Just a little old Saab 9000 turbo with 115k on it I said.
I lost but it felt good to give a good run to a 50k car. :p

I ran a best of 13.32 @ 112. That's far from 11's :mad:

I have a different turbo now and probably run in the high 13's now. That A-6 chipped and God knows what other mods can easily be a 13 flat car.
keep in mind once he established the gap it never increased, from a roll it would have been different. AWD rules.

AWD is heavy, but the A6 with 320 hp will run high 12's. My friend had a A4 with a 1.8t with 245 hp and 265 torque,that thing was so fastthen he decided to drink and drive and totaled it. it could run low 13 in colorado.

Drink & Drive ........never understood why people that are drunk insist on driving, if you try to take their keys away they fight you.. :confused:

i know its such a stupid risk :( my freands and i would drive around trashed when we were younger...not anymore though, luckly we all got busted for other things(thank god!) and have since gotten VERY carefull with our driving....i dont know what the fuck was wrong with us, i mean i never drove but id ride with them :rolleyes: stupid kid stuff i guess...were all lucky were still alive and didnt kill anybody :(........
