yeah, i have heard of that kit. but for a grand i dont think so. candyman has a line on silicone piping so we got that covered i basically juts have to find the intercooler itself. i also have a line on a neauspeed turbo inlet pipe. normally 250 plus shipping. i can pick it up for 170 shipped. pretty sweet. so, more boltons for the beast. VW oWnZ JoO!

hummm, they're not too big :(

the one guy said they're only 7" tall without including the hose in the height, and only 19" wide.

now if I build a turbo go cart, that'll be the intercooler I get :D

Hell I'm sure you could find a way to fit either intercooler in the front bumper. Of just cut your hood and put it there.....j/k :D

With stock turbo , you really will only be losing pressure with a large IC. The stock IC is plenty efficient, or uprade to a Forge SMIC..cheaper and better cooling efficiency. Or you can go Dual SMIC's 90% effieciency as opposed to 70% of the stock IC.

If you're going for teh kick ass look, go FMIC, nothing looks cooler than that. But unless you upgrade to T3/T4 or MAYBE ko4 turbo, your only going to lose some pressure.

Forge SMIC
ABT
Spearco

wouldn't there be the same pressure drop with dual side-mounts and one front mount?

I know for florida with our hot ass days it'll be more consistant with the cooler air going into the motor.

(and it looks sweet :D )
