the fastest car in my houston area suburb wants to race me... he has a newer f-body (ls1 i think) that runs 11.4s on street tires (no ET-streets), but then again, we run street quarter miles in 130+ mph and that is on some worn out tires. now... our car weighs 3400 lbs with driver in it, and a tta (not sure of weight) ran a 9.891@139.79 mph... well... that is on drag slicks, and we did the 130+ on street tires. HOWEVER, we're using a 3.73 gear vs a 3.27 (stock) gear... so a 130 on a 3.27 set speedo is approx 120 I think. i'ma do the math here in a minute... but, the car ain't no pussy

yeah, it's the same engine tranny as the T-Types. maybe some small difference? but basically, it's the same setup.

different heads (they're from a FWD Pontiac), and pretty much everything is special edition. took us the better of 6 months to get a brand new steering wheel back in 95... great car, but if anything messes up, it'll take way to long to get a replaceable part
