AAAAAAWWWWWWWW YEAH!! come on baby, it's NOPI time!

All right, NOPI finally posted the new info (http://www.nopinationals.com/), after last year, and waiting hours and hours in line to get tickets, I'm ordering mine in the next couple weeks to be sure I get them in time. some people last year pre-paid, but didn't recieve the tickets in the mail because they waited too long and ended up next to us in line anyway. did I mention 5 hours from the time we got to the stadium to the time we parked inside? about 3 hours was waiting to get the tickets <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif" alt="Frown" width="15" height="15">

I'm going to be in the show just to park inside the speedway, costs a little more, but I think it's worth it. the crx was a little lonely that year <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"> and in honer of the fallen cars (and bikes), we gotta represent ClubHONDA <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" width="15" height="15">

let's get a roll call, and we can start to get more organized. the hotel we had last year owned, 15 minutes from the speedway, it shared the parking lot with a McDonalds, and it was on a main road to get to stores and restaurants. so we gotta plan on rooms and tickets for NOPI now while there's space.

last year we pimped NOPI all day saturday, then chilled sunday, figure we could find something to do downtown ATL. last year, we didn't know before hand, but we went downtown and there was a braves game and a falcons game that sunday, could be something to do.

i think i'm gonna hit up the hotel this year cuz i don't wanna drive down there for two days. the traffic last year killed my clutch. unfortunatly i won't be sporting the 240. maybe a hatch this year. prob not gonna show, just ride in with someone.

yeah dude, stay at the hotel, so much nicer, only 15 minutes from the track. just ride out with us, I don't remember for sure, but I think the show $$ covered at least one passenger, not sure though.

can't believe both are at the same time, maaaad traffic, but two things we could do that sunday the 21st.

six flags, but thats about as much as a damn football game.theres a water park up here by my house, which is like...1-1.5 hours away from nopi. but...we'd be able to chill at my house and have a bar b que. and its really not that expensive at all to get in. i may even be able to get us some hookups. i know oogles of people who work there.

I cant wait to go this year. Atleast this year I have a b16 in my EF. Hopefully by then I will have some kind of forced induction on tap. the southern NOPI Tour leaves on the 18th actually, that thursday. so to ride with them, we'll leave thursday, chill at a hotel that night, then drive the rest of the way friday.

Its ok i understand...

I might have to sport some superpimps stickers on the jeep and ride it down. Wow that would be one long ass drive in the jeep. i get up around 65-70mph and thats top for me. Hey ok, i'm plannin on comin down and i am going to get a group of friends together i plan on haveing some mass s*** done to my car so i might enter it and hopefully have the time of my life. I'll probably have my friend with a prelude so we can kick some a on the way down. I live in missouri so it'll be a 3 or 4 day trip. I'm planning on taking the trip up with the NOPI tour. last year they left on thursday and drove half way then finished the ride to ATL on friday.

WEll sence Im in SC i have to go about the same distance to start with either leg of the tour but im pretty sure ill be heading to miami to go the whole southern leg. Hopw more people off this forum will be going. And yeam im definetly in for atlanta even though my car looks like **** but runs quite nice.

for now the plan is for us to ride up with the nopi tour thursday, spend the night at daytona thursday night, friday we drive the rest of the way with the nopi tour to atlanta. we spend that night at the hotel we were at last year that's only 15 minutes from NOPI. then that night after nopi we check out and go to the Pimp casa, aka, paradox's place <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" width="15" height="15">

sunday we'll find something cool to do, spend the night again at paradox's then peace out back to south florida monday.

yeah Georgia is not going to be affected at all...but for those like jenn driving down through the hurricane, thats just not safe and smart! 2 trees have already fallen in my yard and this is just a glimpse of what is about to come...driving your car on the hwy goign 70mph and having 100 mph winds push you in another direction is not smart to drive through!

hey I made it safely thank you. it was getting really bad outside..I have pics. Trees were falling on 85..people were getting into accidents..but we made it <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15">

it was bad but it coulda bene mucb worse .we kept the tour going , we were in front and a huge ass treefell on 95S, so we got out and someone had a chainsaw. . .damn rednecks, lol , so we cut ther tree in a few pieces to make it a little mor movable and it took like 15 of us to move this thing, on the way home though we saw how bad it was, VA was tore up everything was shut down , derailed trains, down tele poles on buildings and what not .
it was a great weekend though. i cant even explain the kind of stuff that we did .lol
