Doesn't seem that many people are interested. If there is more interest and the turn out will be pretty large I would make the effort and make my way down. WTF Maryland, seriously why not PA so us MI guys can attend. 6 hours is not a far drive. I am not driving 12 hours for a meet so we can go to the strip. I can do that every Wednesday night here.

I guess what they are thinking is that since MD is almost a central spot on the coast that more people might attend. It's not really all that bad an idea. If it's made on a weekend we can make it a weekend thing.

because you East Coast guys are not down with the whole compromising thing. If you made the meet in PA I know I would go along with Wreckless, and I would probably have a couple friends go with me.

Isn't the whole idea of having an east coast meet is so the whole east coast can meet up? If that's the case then we need to pick a central location and meet there. How can you say that we're gonna have an east coast meet in PA? How many people from further down south say, GA or FL will make their way all the way up to PA? None i'm sure.

The only reason why I say that we should pick a central location is that the turn out might be alot bigger that way.

yea but , the nexy best track is MIR , (budds creek ), i vote on Pa, but whatever, just not doen for racing in freakicn Sc or soem other ****hole down south that dont take car of their tracks and we get shot with salt guns for driving thru peoples famrland making all kinds of racket with our little riceburners , they are harsh down there

well the majority seem to be around NY and NJ anyway. NC wouldn't really be that far of a drive I don't think to PA anyway. Plus with PA we can hit the strip and then those who want can hit up some badass country roads......

maple grove is basically in Reading Pa, you can get right off the turnpike and its like 5 min from the pa turnpike and right of rt 10
the twisties gettign there can be cool its back in the mountains . i know the areas so i can lead the way . i live like 5 min from maple grove.

na i was gonna have to run quick , but IDRC came up with a class for me now . . . PRO AM . for us 11-12 sec cars that are street driven. all stock body panela and glass, can use slicks . and mild wieght reduction i guess.
I will be breaking 11's hopefully on my new sliks and looking for 12's on drag radials.
so dependng on events ill go back and forthe between pro am and street class

no I have talked to Jason Hunt, Jenn Williams and Sav and them guys and it is true alot of people havent gotten paid yet and on top of that IDRC didnt submit the paperwork to the Manufaturers yet for contingencies either, so they havent gotten them for a while yet . . . i dont know what the deal is with that but IDRC is good to me ? they might have soemthing going on right now .

oh ok, you fly to an event, rent a car, and race in your class to get your points, but, what has happened is they made it so you have to go lets say 12 sec or faster for it to count for your points, im sorry joe, i really am not clear all the time, ....teacher i ate my crayons..

because sometimes we always cant afford to go coast to coast, with a truck and trailer, and gear, etc, it was just what people would do, but not anymore, i will for sure be at the florida nhra event...then i think its off to jersey..

you cant rent a car that fast, you used to go to the rental place and rent a car run a suck ass time, but because you are there racing, you get points, NOW you cannot do that with the 12.99 index. pac motorsports is the place in colorado where my car is based out of, they build race stuff..and this year they are taking the car for the full tour, i just fly to the races now, but we decided to probably do only nhra this year.
