I think the saleen's or steeda's come with a spoiler like that, but the stangs don't come ford like that.

WEll im about 90% shure that, that spoiler isnt made by ford but ill still ask my dad when he gets home to be shure. He works at ford and designed most of the explorer and expedition.

Also you can go to the ford website and build a stang and theres no option for that wing at all.

I cant imagine ford designing something that ugly. But then again its ford...

no that monstrosity isnt stock...thank god :rolleyes: the stock spoilers are just a single wing and rather understated. that double deacker thing is a cheasy aftermarket wing that a suprising amount of mustang owners think looks good. your right, just about everyone has one so you see em EVERYWHERE!!(well mostly on show cars) in fact if you pick up an issue of MM&FF and theres a 94-98 stang on there,, 9 times outta 10 it will have a huge double deaker wing like that on it. its quite sicking :rolleyes: almost as bad as altezas on stangs :(

wait....yes, damnit you guys are right. i got confused sorry. im so used to seeing the cheap aftermarket ripoffs that i forgot it was an OE saleen wing. it is called the SR wing, your absolutly right. that ugly pos costs 400 bucks too :eek: thats why most of the ones you will see are knock offs :p you can actually see that the white stang there has the full saleen body kit on it. personaly i dont care too much for saleens. i dont see the point in paying 50gs for a mustang, id rather have a C5 or Z06 for that kinda money. :p and most of the ones ive seen where the person has tried to build there own saleen look like rice. but hey to each his own, but i garentee you wont be seeing that thing on my car anytime soon ;) again im sorry, its been a long ass day plus i have finals coming up...hope that clears everything up ;)

nah, I think you're right, from ford they only had the normal single spoiler. you have to pay saleen 50g's for a 13 second mustang to get the fancy double decker :D

new mustangs have little spoilers, new 03+ SCd Cobras don't, just a little raised one that is connected to the body of the car. No Saleen came with a wing like that, it was a single flat one came up from the body. didn't have any gay multiple fins or any of that crap.

oh, the spoiler on the red V6 came stock on the 2000 cobra R, (but they only made 300 of those so i doubt you'll ever see a real one) but ford did make that spoiler, and the double deaker wing was a peice that came stock with the SR saleens on the 94-98 mustangs. ;) :p

the Cobra R is putting down the same rated HP in in RWHP, so is the new Cobra. However, the Cobra R will absolutely destroy the new blown Cobra around any track. I believe Motortrend or Car and Driver said it handles/better track car than the new E46 M3. Its made to be a track monster which it is, and the new blown Cobra is far from it. And the CSL E46 ran a 7:something lap at the Nurbemburg (sp?) ring in Germany. If you know anything about motorsports you know its basically the most notorious tracks on the plants.

yeah, but for the money the cobra R isnt worth it anymore, you might as well get an 03 cobra with a radio for half the price and 5 more hp to boot :p

the Cobra R is putting down the same rated HP in in RWHP, so is the new Cobra. However, the Cobra R will absolutely destroy the new blown Cobra around any track. I believe Motortrend or Car and Driver said it handles/better track car than the new E46 M3. Its made to be a track monster which it is, and the new blown Cobra is far from it. And the CSL E46 ran a 7:something lap at the Nurbemburg (sp?) ring in Germany. If you know anything about motorsports you know its basically the most notorious tracks on the plants.

oh im well aware that it was built for the track, there nice cars, there just expensive and hard to come by is all, i mean if you wanted a dedcated track car then i could def see why youd want a cobra R over an 03.
