when you do an engine swap does your car still pass inspection?

it will still pass inspection they dont do it in florida but when they did they never had to pop your hood, they just checked to see if you had a cat.

it depends on your state laws. I know in cali you have to use a motor from the same year or newer. but here in florida, we don't even have emissions, so for us it doesn't matter.
