which is a better engine to swap into a 94 civic cx the gsr or the b16? why? which is easier ? which would cost more to do? one more question would it pass inspection with either engine in it? thanks

I must agree with Paradox. The B16 will transplant extremely cleaner then the GSR engine, and the cost difference, as far as i know in canada here, its HUGE.. you will save tons of money going with the b16, and if you need more power just toss on a turbo

i would go with the gsr engine, the b16 is cheaper but the gsr has more tq than the b16, with either engine you will still pass inspections.

Thats the motor cost and the installation right??
Because for $5,500 I can get an ITR motor and Install it.

I want to swap my 97 EX coupe motor for a GSR motor. Ebay has decent prices for the whole set up. It comes with MOTOR, ECU, TRANNY and motor mounts. I just don't trust dealing with that kind of money on the internet. I heard a few people got burned getting motors taht don't even work. Well, I suggest if you do want a swap, you should defently try a near by shop. If you find a really good price online, print it out and take it to a shop. Maybe they can match the price or even go lower. Remember, most of the time when the shop does an install, they will warranty it.

Well, just a thought!

Basically if your getting turbo, get the b18c1. If you going all motor, get the b18c5. If you just want torque, well hell since we are talking about hybirds minus well get a engine from a Semi Truck put in. you cant get more touque than that. ;)

I was gonna go for my MCSE but I had no real experience in the IT field, and most companies want at least 3 years experoence for an MCSE.With the CCNA it's an entry-level certification, so I can start working now and throughout the year go get my CCNP(Cisco Certified Network Professional) and by the time I'm done with that I will have a few years experience.And by the way you guys never finished helping me with my damn Yahoo problem.Geez Thanx a lot.LOL just playin
