if i order a JDM b16, how do i know its a JDM and not a USDM??? is there any marking or stamp on the block anywere???? :confused:

I believe the JDM motors have a "J" in front of the number on the block. the USDM gs-r block I used to have didn't have the "J" and the JDM B16 block I just got does have the "J". then again that could just be coinsidence.

all I know for sure is how to tell when the engine was made by the codes on the head. the date it was made is stamped into the head above the exhaust manifold.
