anyone know where i could find an acura motor for my 93 civic. Also what year would it have to be to bolt right up.

hey man what acura motor do you want? any four cylinder honda/acura engine will fit in a 93 civic (not sure on the new k24 though). my suggestion to you is a b18c or b18c5 (if you've got money). whats your budget and how much you willing to spend?

But the new Si, and RSX motors are K20's :D

civic and rsx are k20. crv k24. old crvs: 97,98=b20b(mine and its a piece of low output shit) 99-01=b20z(not much better, but is better)

See Jackson don't try to flame the 15 year old :D! the k20 will fit in a 93 civic hence the prelude motor is 2.2 liters but the crv is 2.4 liters so i dont think so unless there is some major fabrication.

errr.. i guess you could say that. although really its a pulling motion on your car, its what moves it from a dead stop up untill about 40-50mph after that hp takes over. also when cars are dynoed they measure touruqe and convert it to Hp...i forget the formula for it but there is one that they use. i know this really didnt need explation but i figured what the fuck, theres gotta be someone here that doesnt know what it its, might as well educate them... :D ;) :p

Good to see some fellow Honda lovers here in the Tar Heel State!!! Hey man, if you want some quality stuff done to your car (like the Motor swap and info on what you can put in that car with no problems) Call Jamie at JSPEED in Arbemale, NC. (704) 982-3724. Talk to Jamie and tell him that Ruben from Fort Bragg (Fayetteville) gave you his number. He does really good work plus he knows what he is talking about. He was the Shop that did my swap. But for the 93 CVC wether it is a hatch or a coupe, you can put any B series engine in it however you will still need some mount kits. If you use a B16 you will. If you use a B18 also and Deffinetly if you use a F22 or H22 (Prelude Engines) I recommend in that car the B18 personally if you are looking for a wel balanced car in Top speed and off the line. My buddy has a CVC from the same year group with a B16 and a GSR Tranny and he runs 14's in the 1/4. Plus also remmember if you are going to upgrade a B series is a good building block. The F or H22 does not produce a massive amount of power for the weight and $$$ is going to cost you. You can get a B18 to give easy 170HP stock and the H22 onlky gives you 180HP stock unless you get the VTEC JDM H22 but you are talking some serious $$$$$!!!! Give Jamie a call man he will give you a good price for all the work. I dropped my car off and like 5 days later she was ready and drove it away. It took him 5 days cause he had to wait for an Axle to come in. He's good people. If you are going to do the job yourself he can still get you a good price for the engine combo too.

PS. He does run the fastest all motor Honda in the State of NC!!
