if you allready got the LS, or if you allready have a B16A swap, then it's cool. but if you're starting from scratch, just get the gs-r swap if you find it cheap. there's always CRVTEC though :D

Do an Ls BEFORE crvtec for the price of a crv motor you could resleeve the ls motor and the ls would be twice as strong...thats my thoughts though

I think an LS/VTEC motor is totally worth it, strong bottom end, VTEC head= :) ! That and if you go FI, it will handle a little bit more boost from what I understand, and you will make a crap loud of torque.

All thats is true but the 2.0 liters of air you get from the CRV block sure helps with some tq. The blocks arent that much if you can find one,

I was having so much trouble deciding what I should go. But I ended up going str8 LS since its already built. The good thing is my LS Redlines at 9k. :) :)

But I can get you a b20b for $1150 6month warranty.

It also depends on how much money you have set aside.

Throw a $$$ out to us and we can tell you from each of our views of what we will do with that much money

Keep on Hating!!

Alright here is my thought about the Ls/vtec now if this all depends on what you will be doing with the motor. Leave it stock go GSR. If you plan on building it on limited funds-DONT try. If you are going for a full build you can just stroke and bore a B16 to 2.0 liters( yes I have done it) My buddies B16 runs 20 psi at the track on race gas and has a best time of 11.3 at 127 now that is good for a 10 sec pass with traction he just keeps breaking axles. It is a daily driver at lower boost. But my point is he has less money in that then he would in a ls/vtec and he can rev to 9500

Im all for N/A, there are so many problems that could go wrong when having FI. Of course people bulletproof their bottom end...but Ive seen no reliablity in that. Just my .02ยข
