Here the other day i was like just testing http://www.clubhonda.com/images/ubbicons/boy8.gif the C-REX a littlebit for the last time before the real winter here sets in and it gets slippery.
This was like 3 AM and i was http://www.clubhonda.com/images/ubbicons/bored.gif so (offcourse) i was out driving on some small, twisty backroad and havin some fun, get back too the main road and decides too push it a little on one of the stretches on the way home.
Infront of me i see an old Ford Consul, like 70 mod. or so slow driving big assed car. Just flyes past it (150 km/T or so) and just keeps it floored. I think it is when i am passing 200 km/h i realize that someone is pulling up beside me,http://www.clubhonda.com/images/ubbicons/jawdrop.gif i glance outside and there the ford-dude is cummin up with a HUGE smile, vaving gently at me and just, well basically leavs me for http://www.clubhonda.com/images/ubbicons/dead.gif
I am like http://www.clubhonda.com/images/ubbicons/wtf.gif he has too have some awsome kinda motor too easely catch back up beside me and just leave me for dead like that..

Might be correct there spooled, but it did not sound like an 4 cyl. engine with turbo, there are lots of cosworths around here so i now that sound. I now that ford makes a v-6 cosworth witch is quite rare so it could be something like that, maybe with some turbo's or a blower of some kind on it, it was damn fast though.
hehe, yeah could'nt help myself.... :)

Don't they have another Cosworth motor that high-compression N/A? Maybe not a Cosworth but a Ford motor of some sort?

thats true spooled, but a few years ago i came across an Ford Granda 3.0l V-6 where the owner had rebuildt the engine with twin-turbo's and the enginetop read "COSWORTH". I now this car was really fast, it basically whoooped some sierra Cosworth's ass everytime he was out with it,even the really tuned one's aswell he just had fun with them. it could be the same dude, with the same motor, different car(i now he is a Ford fan and lives somewhere around where this happend) I do not now of anyone else who has that kinda pull in their motor exept a friend of mine's stingray, 858 HP on the wheels

Ok here's the deal. With your listed mods, you're pretty much stock (I/H/E doesn't exactly make you an ultimate drag machine) sooooo Dr. Vick recommends a remedy: swap man, swap. Get a B18C1 and I GUARANTEE he will not walk you like that next time. Besides, he doesn't neccesarily need a turbo, he could be all motor (like someone mentioned) or have a nitrous kit, that could also be a reason he pulled so strongly.

Hey C-Vick while I agree that Mogg's car isnt exactly a beast, he does'nt have the D16 single cam motor,he has a ZC motor which is a basically a D16 twin cam,and those motors have a great top end for what they are and I have seen those motors with the same mods run an easy 14.30,which is not bad for a car with only intake and exhaust. It is clear though that he got his ass whooped!!!LOL Don't worry Mogg, you'll catch up soon!!! ;)

i now my engine are quite stock so that does not bother me at all, but when u are in the 200's there are not that many who can just speed away from u anyways.
Nitrus in Norway are really rare, no where too fill the tanks, some stupid govermental regulations or something like that, otherwise i would run nitrous now!!!
Think this was the biggest consaul, was delliverd with a V-6 original i belive, easy to throw in a different one then, and it had a typical whine when he passed me, twin 5" tubes at the rear,

hehe, real sleeper anyways, looked stock and old and really an old mans car when infact it was a Ford outta hell, or something like that, like that, funny :)

ehh anyways i lost BIG time and i am oki with it, i just did not expect what happened so i was a little surprised. just thougt i'd share it with everyone of u.
And i am keeping the engine too see what i can make of it, and if i can be able too hook up my DV-cam in my car i might take u for a ride at Norwegian roads.....

Paradox

because its in kilometers per hour. multiply it by 0.6 and you will roughly find out how fast he was going in MPH. its about 120. which is still a nice speed. my car won't get that high...stupid speed limiter

I've tested the topspeed on it, the revlimiter bangs in at around 220-225km/h (according too the speedo)at 7350rpm's, if u divide it by 1.6 u get the speed in mp/h.
We do not have speedlimiter's here in Norway, gooood :D
