I was pulling away from a stop light and the Minivan next to me jumped on the throttle. I looked over and it was this older guy gripping the wheel and had quiet the look of determination on his face. I was more in shock than anything. I didn't rev it or anything. He just saw my civic and wanted to race me so he could feel better about having to drive a minivan. I believe you are refering to ricers, and sadly enough most are. However, the actual tuners out there don't have fart can exhausts that are probably just bolt on mufflers that sound like shiza. I drive an import, and my exhaust isn't raspy at all. All you really hear when I drive by is two angry turbos a'spoolin at over 100,000 RPMs and when I pass a nice mildly high tone thanks to the resonator (sp?)

the only cars ive heard with raspy exhausts are the ricer civics and accords. and i guess the truth of the matter is MOST civics and accords do have nasty raspy exhausts, but my civic isnt raspy cause i have real mods done to it. so what you should have said was most civics and accords, not imports. ever heard a skyline? (sounds a lot musclier then a mustang cobra) so before you just blurt out such an idiotic comment, i suggest you consider what you are saying first
