i was with my friend jen and was heading towards apple bee's. sitting at a light, straight road ahead, a guy in a new eclipse gts or gt, not sure, is sitting next to me. i notice HKS stickers on the side of his car. otherwise, it looks sotck. those cars run high 14's low 15's right? well, we both rolll out and then punch it. thru the top of second we are dead even, i hit thrid and slowly begin to pull, i hit fourth and walked him like i thought i would in second. he gets up along side me and i KNOW something is up. iam figuring he sprayed so i ask now much he sprayed to run that close and the fucker says he is stock!!!! this aint the first time some bastard has told me they were stock when i know what there cars run stock and i know what mine runs and the two numbers are totaly freakin different. i really wanted to ask him to puill over and pop his hood but he knew i knew so fuck him.

guys, if you run someone and they give you a good race dont tell them your stock if you are the furthest thing from stock. i have no problem with NOS, just be upfront that you sprayed. otherwise, stick the bottle up your ass and turn it on!!!! and thats all i gotta say about that.

Well my intital thoughts on this one would be something along the lines of, was it the new new eclipse (you know, the one they make those gay commercials for w/ techno songs on tv where people dance in the tiny ass interior, and there's a guy in the back seat, even though the car doesn't really have a back seat, and it has really bad spatial engineering, and I can't fit well cuz they are so compact even when I put the seat all the way back... ok done ranting :p) OR is it the turbo kind. Because if it was the turbo kind, good job on the run. Those things are easily made into drag monsters.

Here's my explanation of what REALLY happened. See he had no nossssss. What he has (but don't tell this to anyone) is MTEC (Mitsubishi Magical Engine Horsepower and Torque Doubler) and it is especially effective in third gear. He didn't have MTEC in fourth so that's why you walked him :p

MTEC? LOL... :D thats the funniest damn thing ive herd on this board in a while.... :D :D

my mom has an 02' chrystler sebring 2 door coupe(almost the exact same car as the eclipse...seriously) and man let me tell you, that thing is a boat!!! they really need to stick a V8 in that puppy :D i dunno i could be wrong...anyways i just thought id mention that...

btw the new eclipses are preaty fugly IMHO :p
