Alright, so as all of you should know. I have a CRV w/ CAI, and lately there has been absolutely no humidity in Georgia. (humidity makes me go slow). So in the past two days I've upped my personal records in a few categories.
New top speed: 113 on the highway at night, no one around. (don't say, ooo...it'll tip. no it won't, i have a car that pretends to be an SUV)
Burn out: One full turn of the tires before the select-trac AWD kicked in. remember, I have an Auto.
Alright, I was coming home from Wendy's with a friend and I came up to this 4 lane stop light. An old Ford Ranger pulls up next to me. its a 92 or so. he revs his engine, and I'm trying not to laugh b/c its sounds like shit. I also know that I have a slow car :( but when the light turns green, we both throw it to the floor, and I am pulling away. About 1/4-1/2 mile down the road, it merges into a 2 lane road(one on each side of the road). I am literally about 10 cars ahead of him, and there is a light right after the lane merge. He turned right and I went strait, but he gave me a nice birdy finger. I couldn't help but be proud of my car. It will probably be my last race in it :(
