well, first off i layed to rest the UP vs APR. i ran a wolfsburg 1.8t with up and 3" and pulled on him. the fiurst run i was behind him and flooreed it a good second after. i pulled to his rear bumper and then swung around and pulled in front. the second run was clean. we started next to each other and i pulled in every gear. this is the same guy i ran about a week ago. we pulled off and talked for an hour. he was really cool.
i also ran a crx from a third gear roll. i shouldve know something was up when he invited me to run. yep, he had a gsr swap in the fucker. we ran from 50-100. he pulled a car on me. i was surprised. a crx weighs next to nothing. it was funny, he first tells me its a SOHC stock motor. yeah right, i say gsr. he says yeah, i am just fucking with ya. it was a good run. the jetta is purdy darn quick.
i also ran another crx. this one had no chance. bus lengths by 65.
on a side note, when i ran the up wolfsburg i noticed a car walking away from us. guess what, it was a oldsmobile aurora or something similiar with a supercharged v-8. that bastard hauled.
it was fun. i lost to a grs crx, lost to supercharged v-8, one against up wolfsburg 1.8t and destroyed a crx with stock motor. not to shabby.
oh, and if anyone has a stock ecu they want to sell for an 02 1.8t manual i am in the market. i want new synchros!!!!
