And 9seccivic, the bike did a 10 sec stock from the dealership. It's not stock anymore so a 9 sec run is pheasable. <- Now that is talking smack!

Now all I have to do is learn how to handle something like that or find a guy who knows what hell he's doing and doesn't mind me holding on.... LMAO..

I took a spin on an R6 once, and kinda dropped it at a complete stop.. keep in mind I'm 5'2'' 105lbs.. couldn't hold it up!! Luckily no damage was done to the bike except a tiny scratch on the engine cover... no biggie. 72mph in first gear was quite a thrill though... but NOTHING like being on the back of a GSXR1100 going 168... ::sigh:: must get back into BIKES..

well this kid had a 600 with busted up fairings, i feel so bad for him, but he needed a asswhippin from darkhorse dom, got his ass whipped by a harley, how embarassing, even i have to admit, i am looking for some fairings, and im gonna put em on, and give it back to him before his girlfriend beats his ass...

I want to trade up the honda for a dyna lowrider or a softail so I have something to play with but the insurance down here is CRAZY expensive.

its a sportster 883 with 1200 coversion, heads, s&s rev tech and a nos cheater, all inconspicuous, raked front end, lowererd i really dont know how fast it is

hey brotha, its been along time. so thee bike is modded now. sweeet. how are the knees holding up, getting tboned musta been a real eye opener. glad to know your still around.

cole tells me your doing tricks now and really getting a grip on that bike. very sweet. i guess the jetta is a distant second. i still have the camu, but she's all stripped out. waiting for either a new motor or a new owner. cant decide. ask you impala buddy if he wants to vette rims, i have no use for them now.

so, whatcha do to the bike to make it faster? i want one, but must pay off the debt first. you know how that is. well, enough reminising, catcha later homey.

Those Rc51's are off the hizza phachizza..A buddy of mine just finished breaking his in...Makes for a real nice ride...There pretty quiet compared to other bikes :D

9sec: The sporty sounds bad ass. You build it or did a shop do the work? I'm going to MMI in a few months for the Harley program and hopefully get into a custom shop to make a name for myself. So hearing about your sporty makes me feel nice in my panties :D

Ant: The bike's got a full Micron serpintine exhaust, pc3r fuel/ ignition controller with a custom dyno'd mapping, 2 teeth down in the front (like changing the final drive in a tranny) and other pretty stuff..Seat, undertail, windscreen, tank bra, and I shaved everything on it. Euro sheek!

white bros. is local and they are tuning it, and a guy there is doing most of the work, yea its great but its really decieving to the rice boys, i was buying and bought a ducati, till the insurance man said tell me you didnt do that, so i went the traditional americana, california style anyways, but its funny driving to work, and the dorks with their backpacks, on their way to work, full faced helmet, fanny pack wearin geeks get next to my bike and it sounds like a shotgun going off inside a shed, and i wind her up to a whopping(!) 5 grand and it makes em jump out of their velcro strapped tennis shoes!, just kidding i like jap bikes, its just i wear jeans, wife beater and half helmet, and these guys look like theyre participating in some S&M oh well whatever the little girls like.....
if ya come out to california, ill take ya to a real harley shop, west coast choppers,

White bros. makes some nice XL parts. I picked up this months issue of american iron and they have a bike featured in it.

How tall are you? I was thinking about picking up a sporty over the big twin for price reasons but if you fit too tight on it that idea will go away.

I was at the ft.lauderdale dealership on saturday and they were quoting me 20 g's for an 02 dyna lowrider. These guys are nut's , but they got what I want so I guess I'm screwed!

um im like 6 foot, but keep in mind, my bike is heavibly lowered, raked and has drg bars, so its long and low, i seem fine on her, we are putting branch heads, and a different mikuni on her monday, i got mine for 8 grand out the door, and my insurance is 568 a year, but im 32 so i dont know, still want that ducati, but i guess ya cant always have what ya want, and i am happy with the harley, as i said nothing more americana than that, next weekend we have the 100 th aniversary of harley davidson at fontana speedway, 3 days of concerts...but for this weekend its the dub magazine carshow...

8G's seems pretty cheap for a harley, I thought they were more? I guess it depends what model you're looking at. the Ducati's cost a pretty penny too, especially if you want the 996, like $18,000 new.

I still want the honda cbr954rr that bike rules :cool: the cheapest I've found is a dealer that sells them for $8,900, but like you said, we can't have everything we want.

the ducati i was getting was a 750 ssr brand new 01 and it was 7900 in redondo beach, the harley sportsters start at 6500 and mine was a custom, so it came with a solid rear wheel, shorter shocks, and drag bars, forward controls, etc, but no harleys aint all that much, out here there easy to find, my east coast buddy told me that v rods are hard to find out there, theres three of em at the dealer down the street in fullerton.for under 20 g. things are different here,
