killed a wolfsburg jetta 1.8t

last night going home from my girls i line up next to a white wolfsburg jetta. i blow off and he blows off through a forge (you heard the very slight whistle from the intake). we punch it from a 40 roll and i pull 2-3 cars by 90. he slows and we line up at the light. cool, from a stop. we both go and i pull 1 car in second and about 1-2 more in third before we let off. hell yeah. we get to the next light and he asks what i have. i say apr and 3" dp. he say he has the same. i really didnt have enough time to talk with him so i didn't mention the ecs. thats what made the difference. i am totally convinced that was the decideing factor. it was cool though. the guy was surprised.

not here....the cops are cracking down REALLY hard in the last couple weeks because couple times people were getting caught racing on the highway..organized with car on the side of the road etc. in the paper it said "there own version of Fast and the Furious"... :rolleyes:..so cops are on the look out now..

another reason that movie pisses me off. like people never raced muscle cars back in the day :rolleyes:

everytime people are racing, or someone doesn't like imports, TFATF gets mentioned in the first two sentances.

True about people racing mussle cars...but it wasnt nearly as trendy then as it is today, you can thank TFATF and stupid 16 year olds with too much damn money to blow on wheels and sitckers for that one....bottem line, the spotlight is on you guys, there is no such thing anymore as underground street racing, its all exposed and the media, and the cops, and everyone else is gonna put the heat on you for a while because your the hipest new trend....sucks for you guys, good for me i guess :D and hey i know not every import is just some poser wannabee, theres a lot of fast imports out there, but theres also a lot of rice, and rice is like a cancer in the street racing world :(

yeah, at least down here at the local races, everyone (domestic and import) gets harrased equally. but if there's two camaros side by side at the races, the young guy is gonna get harassed and the older guy will get a polite "hi, how are you doing". that kinda makes me mad, but oh well.

you're right, the movies make the racing stories "news worthy", so the cops feel the heat, then pass it on to us.
