K first off i dont want everyone to think this is a bullshit story where i whooped a VR6.. Im not like numb nutz there. But i did get a little revenge tonite. Here goes:

3 months or so ago, after i first swapped out my h23 for the jdm h22a Vtech in my 92 prelude, a buddy from around town figures we should have a little duel. So him in his 97 Prelude SH tails me around the streets until i give in and give it a shot. Well to keep it short he roasted me. So after many days of workin on my car and figuring out that my vtec wasn't kicking in, and the engine was running unbelievable rich, i get the car running in decent condition.

So a relaxing night with Cody, just cruising the street up here turns into buddy in his 97 lude once again on my ass wanting another round. So after persuasion from the Cody we roll out to our highway and i figure i got nothin to lose except a little respect. So from a roll of about 30km/h we gun it. right out of second i keep inching on him until i'm at least a car and a half ahead of him. Cody was giggling like a little school girl. After we pull over and he starts asking me what happend and saying that i got nitrous. But baby he was beaten, and yes Revenge is Sweet!

Bserieshatch69, u need to shut the fuck up always braggin on your fuckin car the dude I bought this car from my friend who had the same exact car u had but except it was a 92 with AEM intake and Weapon R exhaust and it was a stick shift and it raced this Accord which is an automatic which at the time just had AEM intake and GReddy exhaust and it lost by more than 6 cars. So get your priorities straight before u start talkin shit and I definitely know what im talkin bout I admit I lost a couple of races but everybody does and if your car happens to beat mine if we ever were to race don't worry I got another car waiting for u when I get some pics of it you will see it and I know almost everybody in the car club im in will beat u so know the shit before u talk it

I know how much money cody's put into his car, and everything he has! but thats only because i sold all of it to him :confused:

And yea Streetracer05 glad your not in such a pissed off attitude anymore.. what did i do to tweek it, well threw an apex-i v-tec controller in there (best buy ever) and Auto Meter Air Fuel gauge.. poor car just needed to be tuned, and well have the vtec set. Shitty thing is that when i did my swap i couldnt swap the ecu's because i didnt have the JDM harness, so my h23 ecu didnt have the vtec settings. So now i can Hit Vtec and make cody pee his pants.. its great!

Yea the old ecu does have a vtec wire but for some reason i never hit vtec, and would just get to about 6000 rpm and the car would redline.. so i put the v-afc in and tada!!! i was able to set my vtec at like 5200 rpm, tune it so it wasnt running rich like a mofo, and it also helped push my redline up to 7200.. its great!

Damn, that would be KILLER! I was down for a car show in edmonton and cody and i, seen a civic hatch with the h22a swap, and was putting a turbo on that puppy.. not a lot of room in that engine bay! and its a BIG job.. one of the hardest from what i've heard.. Good Luck and keep me posted

yeah, I've heard different stories, some say it's a pain, but I know a couple guys who have done the swap a few times who say it's no more a deal than a regular swap, we'll see.

but to have the H22A with turbo in a little hatch :D that would rock!

I was dissapointed, you now that garcia guy (forgot his first name) with that famous hatch with the "feels" wide body kit? when it first came out it was purple and now it's yellow. anyway, I saw it at a hot import nights event down here, granted it has the H22A swap, and a front mount, but it doesn't even have a turbo kit, just the front mount :( I was dissapointed, now when I look at the car I just see 'rice' :( I used to like that car too.
