Hey, I'm new to this board and I have a couple questions that I thought some of you might be able to help me with:

I am considering buying a 5th gen Civic hatch with a GSR swap and a T3/T4 swap. It has all the necessary add-on's(low compression pistons, crower rods, intercooler, BOV, Wastegate). Basically I was wondering how reliable this car will be, what kind of HP and Torque numbers it produces and how well it would do in the 1/4 and 0-60.

I would appreciate and all responses to this. Or if its just a waste of all your time, don't even bother.

Hahahaha, i wrote T3/T4 swap, I meant Turbo. I'm sure all of you figured it out, but I didn't want to look like even more of a dumbass. Sorry...

thats a good car to buy how much u buying it for?? That car if it was done right will be very reliable, i would see what psi the guy was running at so you know what he took the boost up to, also do a compression test on it, even though the readings will be lower than the stock numbers cause of the pistons, you still will be able to see if they all read around the same # that way you know there is no damage to the rings or anything like that. I would get it . How much for it?

does it have an engine managemant system? cuz ive herd that those tend to extend the life of a built motor...although i could be wrong

just because i sit outside your house at night taking pictures of you while you sleep doesnt mean im a stalker.....it means im a fan!

well, if the car is tuned right, it'll be reliable. and depending on how much boost you're running, you may want to upgrade the fuel system if it already hasn't been done.

moved to "general" since it's not a kill story.
