i always find the best races lately. so i am pacing a really nice 2002 gti black 1.8t with the 1.8t badge removed. i puch it infourth and blow off and to my surprise he does the same. hell yeah, he wants to run. we have to drive real slow cause cops where checking out a rpevious accidfent. we make a left onto a road and run fdrom a second gear roll. i pull a car onhim in second and blast about three more in third. we slow and i give him the thumbs up. i was very surprised i puled that hard. i ask him what chip he has and this is where i get mad. he says NONE. STOCK. i ask again and again he says none. yeah buddy, i am stock too. this is where i call him a liar and leave. aint nothing worsse than beating someone and having them lie to you.
first, his lady was in the car. so, he lost in front of her. second, my jetta is quick. and a stock gti is not going to lose by only 3 or 4 car lentghts to 90mph. last, a stock gti with 10-11 psi boost is not going to have a significant BOV sound. I SHOULD KNOW, I CAN TURN MY CAR TO STOCK BOOST AND I GET NO BOV SOUND. so, if the guy i ran posts on this board, dude good run, but dont lie to a fellow dubber.
my ride is ahelova lot faster than a stock gti, esspecially from a roll and you got the move. anyways, it was alot of fun.
