for a while there I only came accross a race in the accord or the astro van, but today the crx got a good run :)
going to my buddy's house and I'm pacing this newest body style WS-6. it's open ahead of us so I take off and he doesn't bite... at first :) so I let off and then he punches it from about 5-6 cars back, I wait till he's 3-4 cars back then I punch it from about 40-50 (not sure the speed, but i was in 2nd gear).
so we're going and the closest he got was about 2 cars then I pulled back ahead to 3 cars then we shut down around 110mph. he should have kept going since I was about to hit my 115mph speed limiter, he could have done a fly-bye :) after we slowed he turned off and we both had nice grins on our faces, a fun time was had by all.
not too bad, but my car is getting worse, the other day I beat a C5 vette the way I beat this guy, and the ws-6 should be slower than the vette. but for having a dead #1 piston and a turbo in dire need of rebuilding, the crx did good :D
