gti 337

[Camuman]

let me start by saying i wasn't driving. reason being i was a little tipsy from dinner and seven and seven so i let my buddy (candyman with the turbo crx) drive. it was him in the front and me and my frined jen in the back. we pulled behind a brand spankin new 337 gti. whoo hoo. i didn't even have to tell my bud to mess with this guy. we are behind him and he is the first car the light. light goes green and off course the 337 punches it. my buddy does the same and by second gear we are at his back bumper(we did start behind him and had to let him roll out a little) by the end of third we were at least 3 cars ahead of him and i guess he gave up but my buddy grabbed fourth for the nail in the coffin. the 337 had a passenger but my heavier 5 speed jetta also had 2 passengers and the driver. ha ha ha. so the guy gets next to us and tell him to chip it and it will be a helluva lot faster and he says it was chipped but he took it off?!?!?!!? wtf. i think it was chipped and he didn't want to admit a jetta with 3 total passengers just handed him his ass. guess thats why we nicknamed my car the silver bullet.

lol lol damn man you catch all the races. When we drove the "silver bullet" it was fast as hell without the 3" so it must move now, plus with candymanjl's driving skills it makes all the difference.

yeah, he was a sore loser, he was just mad that his "337" lost to a Jetta with more people in it.

I still say he was chipped and just didn't want to admit it, there's no way he would have been that quick stock :rolleyes:

the second run was fun, started from behind him at the light and had to let off cause we caught up so quick :D


the civics we ran before that were fun too, they kept trying :) but the silver bullet came through. the funny part was with your towel trying to fly out of the window ;)

i like a few things about the 337. i like the golf ball shifter. recaros and the rims o0o0o0o the rims. the car itself is ugly but VW *high five* for those 3.

if I had a gti, I'd get the 337 front/rear bumper and side skirts, it looks nice. the rims are chrome though :( that's the only thing that bummed me.
