and me in my buddy's slow ass car and not in my crx :( I knew I should have driven my car that day.

I'm sure he would have won with my car in limp mode, but I think I could have kept up for a little bit.

I tried to race one the other day.....yeah got smoked, but the sound was cool as hell!

i have run a 98 cobra in my Z28 and was pulling on him in fourth and candyman destroyed me like i wasn't even moving!!! his car really hauls. on a side note, i am sure he would like too if we knew where you lived?

the first ones that came out (early 90's) ran mid 12's. the newest ones run low 12's high 11's. figure that's with mad traction, so from a roll a mid 12 sec FWD has a good chance.

when the accord was alive it took the cobra :D

low compression pistons, rods, blockguard, and rebuilding the turbo. if I get a small loan then I'll also get hondata stage IV, AVC-R, and some big ol' injectors.

but definately the first part.

candymanjl...don't get anything lower than 9:1 pistons..just letting you before hand :D u wouldn't want to waste all that boost on low compression pistons now would you?

there's only about a 5hp drop from 9.0:1 to 8.5:1. but there's a huge drop in peak cylinder pressure, so with the lower compression there's less stress on the bottom end and I can run more boost on pump gas. (since this is my daily beater)

maybe if I had a heavy ass integra I'd keep the higher compression, but my car pulls now with the #1 piston blown and the 1.6L, so with four good pistons and 1.8L, it'll be much better no matter what, it can't get worse.

when i lived in detroit i had a 92 viper and had hennesy in texas tweak it a bit and was able to squeeze 11.10s out of her...

whoa 11.10's :D

as far as I could tell this guy was stock, no aftermarket stuff on the outside.

there's a few hardcore vipers down here, one turbo, another with a supercharger and two 15 pound nitrous bottles in the trunk :D pretty cool. the guy with the supercharged one is always cammin' away, wah wah wah wah wah, sounds like it's gonna stall, wah wah wah :cool:
