Saleen Mustang...

on my way to Camuman's house and a Saleen mustang pulls up next to me, I give a rev but no response, so ok, no big deal. but then he's about 3 car lengths ahead and punches it, so I punch it too. by now he got a big head start, but I closed the gap to about 3-4 cars, then he let off and I went buy him.

pretty sure it was only a "show-fag" saleen, only the body kit and exhaust. if we would have gone at the same time I would have put him away pretty quick, he turned off into a neighborhood so we couldn't go again.

but if the motor was happy I would have chased him down with the quickness, so I gotta hurry up and get my pistons and rods allready, I'm on a quest now :D

Ahh yes the Saleens... some are actually very powerful. Depends how much money the guy threw into it, and also what type of Saleen it was. Probably a S281, but give some details about your turbo CRX. Some people around my area have turbo CRX's and I KNOW they are very fast.

yeah, pretty sure he had the stickers, body kit, and exhaust saleen.

my car right now is a stock B16A with the turbo kit @ 8psi. it's pretty quick, even with one piston reading low compression the last time I checked it. it's slow as hell compared to when I had the gs-r motor in there (that blew up :( )

anyway, gonna get pistons and rods soon. plus rebuild the turbo and I'll be ready to go :D

the S281 saleens sux balls! id rather have a cobra than one of those....some of the top end saleens make around 500hp and would just about kill every body on this board(myself included of course) there are however A LOT, and i do mean A LOT of clones out there :(...most are tacky cheap knock offs(like the one candyman raced) but there are a few ive seen that are done quite well, if you ever hear the blower wisle at the light and notice a small # stamped under the right headlight than its probetly a real saleen....so yeah /end rant
