I want to replace the coilovers on my car but would like detail instructions on how to do it. I have an idea but it's always good to receive some help.

The coilovers that I bought are groundcontrols for my Koni Sport.

:(Can anyone give me instructions on how to do it?

once you get the suspension apart, the coil-overs are easy to install. the real way is to get a spring compressor from pep boys (usually they're free to rent, they just ask for a deposit).

on the fronts, you'll have to take the fork off of the bottom of the shock, then the shock only has two bolts at the top holding it in. if you have a spring compressor, then take out the shock and then remove the spring. if you don't have a spring compressor, or you're lazy like me, after you take off the bottom fork I loosen the middle top bolt and let the spring fly :) than drop the shock out.

and since you don't have to compress coilovers to put them in, that makes it easier. just lower them all the way when you put everything back together.

Thanks bro! I did get the spring compressor for my friends car but mine already has cheap coilovers on the front and back. We did the back and the groundcontrol coilovers are sweat. I have to do the front tomorrow. Thanks for the info. That helps me alot.

Thanks again,

cool, I like my ground controls, those with my tokico adjustables have given me a sweet ride.
