this is cool! if you want to talk with someone, but not have the post visable to everyone.

all you gotta do is click on thier name in the 'online now' list, then you'll see this...

or if you have added someone to you 'contact list' then on the list next to thier username is the icon too.

once you do that you'll get a page that's like when you start a regular topic, but when you're done only you and the other person can view the topic and it's replys. the other person will get an email link to the topic, or be able to see it from 'MyPop' then the 'Private Topics' tab.

so it's kinda like IM, just through the forum.

p.s. I can't view anything in the private topic area (even as the Admin), so it really is 'private'

one more thing, to have more than one person in the private topic, you'll have to go to 'mypop' then 'private topic' then click the 'new topic' button. this will take you to a screen where you can add people from your contact list to the private topic. if someone you want to add isn't listed, you'll have to add them to your contact list first.

so select who you want to invite, then the next screen lets you select who can and can't post replys, then you get to the 'post new private topic' screen like before.

this is just the way to include more than one person in a private topic.

one more thing, only the person that started the private topic can delete it, so if your topic has gone dead, if you could clean them out now and then, that would be great! thanks, enjoy!
