View Full Version : 4th gen H22A1 turbo questions&advice

Ok, I have been considering putting a turbo on my 94 Prelude VTEC. But I am trying to find some people who have experience with a turbo on this engine and more specifically this car. Has anyone on here ever put a turbo on a H22A1 and if so which one are you using. I belive I am looking for a T3 or a T3/T4 and I want to run about 8psi with a HP gain of around 100-150. Also if anyone has had a bad experience with a turbo lets here it. Unfortunatly there is not a supercharger for my engine so i am stuck looking into a turbo. Thanks.

F-Max makes a sweet bolt-on turbo kit for your car, kicks the motor up to about 280 hp at the wheels, which is over 300 hp at the crank... www.f-max.com (http://www.f-max.com)

I need to make a correction here. This is my daily driver so I dont think I want to run more than 8psi. Thanks for the advice.

the fmax kit is sweet. the stage 2 is the nice one lil expensive but woth it
