Last night i went to the track (Gainesville Raceway) with some friends of mine well there were a couple people there that are in the same club as i am in anyways there is this guy with an si in the club who is always talking about i would kick your a** yada yada so we go to line up and the track officals f****** suck and wouldnt let us line up so the si whos best run was only a 16.2 his average was somewhere like 16.9, 17.1 lets just say hes not a very consitant driver. of course with an ex i was only running 16.7,16.9's so as he was lining up for his pass you see him do a little touch and go to practice for his launch you also here a loud "clank", the poor guy blew is transmission you just see transmission fluid pouring out underneath his car turns out he just installed a short throw shifter by himself and the linking wasnt right poor guy had to get towed all the way back 55miles at $2 a mile and a $45 hook up charge OUCH!!!!!! just thought id share!!
