I was launching at 4500 but traction would be a problem in 1st. My 3rd run yesterday I did launch at 3500 and I just took off. It was a very good run but at the finishline it went bad with a misshift and spun a rod. I dont even know what I ran, I wasn't interested but I am going to find out. It wasn't a good day for me and the first 2 runs were not so good either. My first reaction time was a 1.084 with a 2.368 60ft. Too much wheelspin. I ran a 15.157 and the second run I had a r/t of 0.928, a 2.522 60ft and I ran a 15.002. I know for sure though that I had a much better r\t, 60ft, and et on my 3rd run, probably a 14.5. They dont show the time display here ate the end of the track so you just have to pick up your slip and I didn't cause I was so pissed!

At the track you will have much better grip than on the street even with the same street tires. Last time I was at the track I did my normal street launch (3,000-3,500) and bogged so I kicked it up another 2,000rpm and it was a bit much so I knocked it down another 500 and it was pretty sweet. A little wheel spin but it wasn't out of control.
It will probably take you a couple of passes to find your sweet spot. Let us know how it goes.

Well I usually go between 3.8 and 4.2, which seems high compared to everyone else's.... But my car sticks really well to the ground, so it helps I guess.
