I've decided to not to touch the boost, yet. My next mod is an exhaust manifold to uppipe, along with new tires..

It seems everyone who is running 13's is running boost. I'm just going to drive the $hit out of the car with bolt-ons and see what I can do. And my tires are about shot, I couldn't even launch higher than 4500.. otherwise I'd spin thru first! New tires and I'll have that 60' down to a 1.8.

ALSO I got noticed by a raceteam from CT on Saturday and the guys were there again last night to see how I did <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::cool:--> They were impressed and told me they would contact me.. NIICE..

anyway , yea try some new tires, let the car breath, those traps should be higher. granted the car is heavier , but for awd and turbo the 60fts are lower thnan expected and the traps are lwoer then expected.
reaction times are great though.
downpipe is a deff help also lose the cat <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::)-->, get nwe upper pipes. , youll see a huge diff, trust me . maybe a new clutch too , i know they are kinda squishy

FYI The fastest a WRX goes stock is a 14.3 w/ a professional driver, as stated by Subaru.

The aftermarket suspension and exhaust also dropped Scoobie's weight from 3118 to 3075lbs.

The catless uppipe is next.. ::sigh::

I'm not sure at all this guy is for real, that's why I'm not going into detail. I realize it can't be THAT easy.

I think the car lost some weight with the new suspension, lighter lower control arms and struts <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="Confused" width="15" height="22"><!--graemlin::confused:-->

And the exhaust replaced a cat, a huge muffler and two resinators.. the metals didn't look the same either..

So I'm thinking that could have something to do w/ the miracle diet Scoobie experienced....

Hey ITR, what do normal Type R's run w/ boltons (including header)? Either the guy can't drive or his car is busted b/c a type R I THINK should be killing me. You would have cried if you had seen the condition of this once beautiful Type R... I almost did.

i did 13.60's all motor with just bolt ons.
it depends on the car and set up and driver. i have seen guys with more thna me and less power. i got lucky <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::)--> or im just that damn good /
i did 194 to the wheels on mine all motor and never had the motor open for internals or even cams or cam gears at that .
usually you will see R's in the low 14 sec range though. thats prety normal .
i put the car back to close to stock before i did the turbo and went 14.1 on street tires, with intake and exhaust traps were i think 99and change . i prob could got a 13.9 that day , but ran out of runs. it was chilly so the car was runnign great.

What do you normally dial-in at? How do you determine a good dial-in number? The event on the 23rs has no TT's.. you going?

trust me driver makes a big diff. . i still cant get the car off th eline like it should , like i said if you think your car wont launch , get in a fwd car like mine with power under it . . . totally diff game , even with my lsd, its a bitch
i dunno i dial in all diff times it depends on how shes erunning that day .
i know what my car can do iso i have a good idea of how to dial in , its just knowing your drinvign and how the car reacts under diff conditions
