My first racing event of the season.

Well, last sunday i had my first racing event of this season. It was a long long day. We left at 6 in the morning (1.5 hour drive) and I did not came home until 8 at night. Well, it was still kinda cold and very windy but dry. The track wasone because it is a circuit track with a long stretch where we had our 1/4 mile race. At the start and finish there are curves and the sensors were not matching well all the time with the start lights and finish line which sucked. We had to wait long sometimes to race but I had 7 runs that day. The organization wasn't of best which was a bit dissapointing but I had a nice day. I had to piss after every race cause of the adrenaline and cold. I got only 2 time slips in, one which I jumped red and kept going slow down the track finishing at a time of 26.776 <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif" alt="Eek" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::eek:-->.
I still need to get my other times which were not available for some reason. I got one and it is as follow:

R/T: 0.302
60 ft: 2.633
KM/H: 150.38
ET:14.839

I might have faster times but I dont know yet <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="Confused" width="15" height="22"><!--graemlin::confused:-->. They will be posted on that site soon I hope. And yes, I need to work on my 60 ft...... alot of wheelspin.

Well, in the end there were no eliminations and qualifications so it was just heads up. Some poeple were mad because of that, but I just went to see what times I get so it was after all a fun day. Next event is April 6th.

Very nice times!! I like the picture of you vs. the Camaro. When I first raced a 1/4 mile, I was up against a Chevy II. I wasted him. They wouldn't put me up against any other Honda cars, I was pissed!
