well i beat him in phoenix last time, but the shifter and bushings, and sychros, seem to be bad in the car so i couldnt shift into any gear it sucked, i lost... he ran a 9.552 me missing all the gears, went 10.22 oh well...

very soon, if you look in that new import magazine "access" the one with all the chickies, look at the import auto salon theres a pic of it in there...by the big nitrous bottle, and a plug for z10 in there because the photo shows the quarter panel with the sport compact car and z 10 logos..

I bought my crx with the gs-r swap and turbo kit in it. stephen from pacific performance installed the swap and made the turbo kit for the car and threw in the clutch.

well...

he installed the swap using only the tranny mount and the mount by the timing belt (no front or rear engine mount)

cut away so much of the crossmember for the downpipe there was only about a 1/4" X 1/2" piece left the weld together. which broke, then I had it rewelded, but there just wasn't enough there, I replaced it with the place racing crossmember.

the wastegate was there, but not hooked up at all to a boost signal, the BOV's boost bypass was how it was controlling boost. so the turbo was always spinning at max, with the BOV releasing the air. hence why the guy I bought it from's turbo killed itself, and so did the one I bought to put in there before I made it right, which is why I need my turbo rebuilt.

he wired up the cooling fan to the 16 gauge power wire for the distributor, I'm still surprised that it never melted the wire.

the new clutch that the guy I bought it from him wasn't never installed, instead they ripped him off and threw in a used one that broke on me on the highway cruising in 5th (didn't happen during a shift).

ummm, other that that, he didn't do too much :D he he

I'm not really upset, I should have checked / replaced stuff my self before runnin' the car hard and breaking his ghetto-rigging. I'm more upset he ripped off my buddy (because he charged him a lot of $$$). but it further add to the list of why I'll never go to pacific performance. and I did learn a lot from the stuff breaking, but it wasn't the most fun way to learn :D

yeah, and the guy I bought the crx from spent some cash, he gave me all the reciepts, so it wasn't like he wasn't paying for all the work. but whatever, at first I was kinda mad, but I was buying a half finished project car anyway, so I can't reasonably expect much, but if stephan ever bragged about putting the car together, I'd give him that same list I gave you :)
