help i am confused why did i run shity at the track

i have a 95 LS integera with drag 3 yurbo kit full catback and safc and some other stuff . But my freind has a 95 ex civic with a b 16 a with all the bolt on including scunk 2 racing cams . why did i kill him own the street and barelly beat him own the track. part of the probolem was it would not fucking hook up it would bunr first and second i could not hookup till 3rd for some reason i only ran a 9.70 at 79 mph i was a little dissaponted but i ran 11.0 without the 5 pounds of boost what can i do to help hookup?

well, at the rate you were going, if you went the full 1/4 mile, you would have really wooped on him. every 10th of a sec is about one car length in the 1/4 mile, you allready had 1.3 seconds on him at the halfway mark, which is allready a 13 car lead.

first of all clarify those times, 9.70 in the 1/8 the 1/4 what? Then if you want to hookup learn where your car grabs the best. Rev to high and ull just light them up like you did or too low and ull bog. Also a good set of slick or drag radials would be good for hooking up

I HAVENT RAN THE 1/4 YET THE CLOSEST ONE IS A 3 HOUR DRIVE plus i thought the way i launched it own the street would do just ass good own the track but the bitch just boged out like a bitch the street i launch it at 3700 to 4000 and that is the perfect take off but that is with my 18 in racing harts then i slaped my gsr wheels own there and it would spin when i launched and when i went to sec i would have to back out of the throtal to make it hookup

my crv runs 19.22. w/ full interior, spare tire, 2 people, and additional cargo

i could've prob gotten into 18's if i had emptied my car.

is there any way i can make it spool up faster i have a full catback this guy at the muffler shop made it for me but i had it made before i got my turbo and it is only 2 1/4 he said i could bring it back and get bigger . But how big is to big would 3 1/2 be to big :confused:

3" would be a big improvement over the 2 1/4". and a electronic boost controller like the apexi avc-r would definately help too.
