Ummm my car is slow, kidding, I am happy with the numbers from my first time on the track ever....I made two runs, let me know what you think I can improve on from my times:
1st Run:
R/T---.703
60'---2.638
330---7.319
1/8---11.042
MPH---65.97
1000---14.262
1/4---16.940
MPH---82.35
2nd Run:
R/T---.740
60'---2.513
330---7.087
1/8---10.784
MPH---66.33
1000---13.988
1/4---16.654
MPH---82.74
I think that my car could have been faster....but for my first two runs ever on the track...I dont think it was that bad. :D

I'm at 4000 ft. and the temp was like 71-80 degrees that night! I know I should run 15's but oh well....I got a kill launch on the second run, and I was up against a Integra LS with a drag turbo set up, I had a car on him until I got into 3rd, and he just pulled right past me. :(

Well your car has more potential than your times are showing. My car which is a 2000 honda accord with CAI, 2 1/2 custom exhaust with high flow cat,and msd wires (bosh platinum plugs). I ran a 16.3 (1/4). But I live in Brandon FL. So I know that your car is faster than what your times are showing. Just practice your launches.

yea I would say where you are at is killing you. Your 60' times are a lil high but not that bad. I know a friend here that has almost the same setup as you and he runs consistently 14.9-15.0 with a bad clutch, so try taking a ride to track somewhere else and see what happens.

launch at 4500 rpms. or you can try using the "smoke tires" method. where you launch hard and use the wheelspin to gain some grip. the latter takes major practice but hey arent you practicing? hehe. good luck.

your reaction time was a lil slow...that would have made a difference in a race. i learned a few things bout this shit. you know how its a christmas tree light set-up thats counts down..well right when the last yellow light turns on...thats when you go. there is a .5 sec time between each of the 3 yellow lights and the green light. a good R/T is .5 therefore if you react and start right when the last yellow light comes on...and your R/T is .5 then you will have a perfect start, and cross teh start sensor right when the light turns green...it isnt very common at all for someone to have a R/T less then .5 so you should be safe doing it this way...try it...see if it gives you a better time...and if youre racing someone im sure this will probably make the difference of who wins...considering if they launch right when it turns green...that gives you an extra .5 to .8 seconds lead to them depending on their R/T which could totally make a difference between who wins. try this, let me know how it goes...if i confused you i can explain more thoroughly..

And really reaction time wouldn't make a difference in time,it would in the sense the other person would leave before him, but he could wait a minute after the tree drops and his time would be the same, the clock starts after he crosses the sensors... ;)

i know im saying in a race spooled...in a race...it measures the time from when the green light turns on to the time you apss the start sensor..and thats your R/T...so if you do what im saying...your R/T would be prolly 0 to .1 as where the other guy would be .5 to .8

yeah, on a sportsman tree or bracket tree. you get... yellow... yellow... yellow... green. leaving the beams exactly on green gives you a .500 r/t, since the r/t timer starts at the first yellow light.
the real drag guys go on a pro 300 or pro 400 tree. those are the ones that all the yellow lights go for either .300 or .400 of a sec, then green. so for them, a perfect r/t would be .300 or .400.
but the r/t doesn't affect your 1/4 time, it does affect who gets to the other end first, but that's why the times are seperate. whole race = r/t + 1/4 time, that's why you can have a slower car, but a quick r/t and win the race, or vice versa.

With all those mods, as well as the Skunk2 Intake manifold, there has to be something wrong with the car to run that slow. I would imagine that you should definelty be in the 15's! I think it is time for a swap before you go Turbo. Just a suggestion. Good luck!

the 4400 ft is killing you. bring that fucker to sea level and see what happens. and find a elevation coorection table to see wht you run. even with boost, you'll have less power than at sea level. just remember, when you get boost and its tuned for 4400 ft, dont drive to sea level and punch it with out turning down the boost. :)

does that really make a difference? I did not know that. I live in Holland, below the sea level kinda. What would the difference be here then?

the higher you are the thinner the air. on a boosted car, say supercharged. at sealevel, a 9 lb pulley will give you 9 lbs of boost, at 4500 it may be only 7lbs of boost, so less power.
when i was up in north carolina at 4000+ ft, the car was def slower, and the boost guage would read a few lbs less. fuck that. rich remembers, it was weird to have the car get faster as i got closer to florida!!!!

cool, well about the weather.... Holland has the worse weather all year round. Summers are nice but now it is already cold, about 40-50 degrees F. When it rains, it can be just drizzle all day long for weeks. But yeah, cold air is nice for your car, except when you start up the cold engine. I need to heat it up for atleast 10 minutes every morning I drive it otherwise it just rides like shit!
Projekt7Tuning

I would swap the H22a in there, the SI motor is not enough in that body. THEN boost that bad boy, but if funds are the issue, definetley boost it on what you got. Those internals should be good for 6 PSI easy. HOWEVER, I just wanted to state that I had a 00' Honda Civic SI, and I ran a 15.3 on STOCK everything, with an AEM Cold-Air intake. That was at Sacremento Speedway....I guess it really may be the altitude that is fuckin' up your progam? Good Luck!
