nope i havent drag racing!

but i was caught racing a V6 slowmaro in my 5.0L last summer on the highway....cop said and i quote
cop- "nice car you got there, whats done to it?"
me- " thanks, just some bolt ons"
cop-" well see that guy parked behind you??" (he was pointing to the camaro behing me off to the side of the highway)
me- "...yah..."
cop-"make sure he stays behind you, i hate camaros..(and gives me a wink)"
me-" (a chuckle to make the cop feel good, and maybe not such a harsh fine)"
cop" well considering this is the first time i have seen either of you testing your vehicals you may leave, consider this your warning, i be on the look out for you..."(then he talked to the other guy for a min and we drove off)

this was a very nice cop, he was young and didnt really want to give us a ticket just a warning i guess, and too this day when we see eachother we give a little wave or a nod. ehehhe cool guy he is!

well, thanks to the news sensationalizing everything that might be racing related, they come down hard on us. no matter what it is we'll at least get a ticket for something. wether it's a 'drag race psectating' ticket for watching or actual 'drag racing' if they catch you running.

the nicest cop I've been pulled over by wrote down a lower speed on my ticket, 54 in a 40 instead of 68. but every time I've been pulled over I've gotten a ticket.

Decent COPS?! I have a clean record, but many of my friends aren't so lucky.. It's most definitly luck too...

This area is SUPER hard on any racer.. even the wanna-be's! Hot car = tickets...

You can actually get a ticket for suspected instigation of a street race. Participation of any sort (including rev'in at a red) is an instant ticket.

I was racing some 92-95 Civic EX 2dr one night in the city, and we'll just say that I beat him. At the next light he turned right, and I was waiting to go straight....all of a sudden there was a cop next to me, he acted like he was going to go after the EX, but instead backed up and got behind me. I'm thinking of great "exibition of speed" Nice little $400.00 ticket here in Utah. So I get pull over, the cops like do you know how fast your were going, I'm like ummmmm like 70, the cop all you were going 63 in a 35. So the cop goes to his car, then comes back and give me a ticket for 5 over, and warning for no front plate. But before he hands me the ticket he all " the reason I pulled you over is because you were winning" I almost smiled myself to death right there in front of the cop :D ! So the cop was cool, and he could have got me pretty bad for racing.

damn your so lucky i have gotten a ticket for spectating and for racing. I have never been pulled over and not gotten a ticket or even a warning for that matter :( DAMN PIGS I HATE THEM!!

i got a ticket for doing a burnout across anintersection. IMPROPER START/TAKEOFF FROM THE STOP POSITION. what a freakin joke. also have two speeding tickets. 94 in a 70(was actually doing 105) and 64 in a 40. the worst could have been when i was on the sawgrass TESTING the jetta. hit a buck fifty and saw in the distance lights. thank god for good brakes.

At a local spot my cousins girl friend wanted a ride in my car of course im goin to say ok....so i go line up no one else wants to run me and i didnt want to anyways since i had a passenger...so i get on it 1st - 3rd gear then i come to a stop cause i see everyone runnin to there cars so..so im like wtf and bam big ass light on me and sirens and shit...... they got out pulled guns on me and were like freeze and shit....then got me out of the car and handcuffed me then threw me on the floor....they were talking to me sayin your ass is goin to jail and shit i was like fuk so i was sitting there and then hes like ok you have 2 options you can either go to jail or never come back i said ok i wont come back...and they let me go without any tickets or anything....i was lucky i was on the slicks and everything i guess its because i was real cool with them and wasnt bein a jerk....but anyways i was out there next weekend :D

and shit if they would have tooken me to jail...i would say something in the lines of I GOT AIDS.... and see who fucks with me then....damn mother fukers.....but then if they fuked with me my ass is goin down scrapin cause then aint fukin with my shit....

you guys have to relize something, most cops are domestic lovers, particualy fords because thats what most crusiers are, i have NEVER met a cop that was into imports, but i have met many(mostly on good terms) who have told me stories from their youth about going to the dragstrip with their blueprinted 70 cuda' or 66 chevel and melting some pavement, the import thing is mostly younger guys, kids between the ages of 16-27 and frankly with all the poorly done imports(rice) and street racing assoiated with them cops cant help but get a little annoyed, especialy when some kid puts his life in dangour cuz he doesnt wanna get a ticket and tries to run, i think cops are getting a little fed up, and since most street races thease days involve imports there gonna give you all a hard time, most domestic guys go to the track(although im sure a lot dont all the ones i know do) so we generaly just get speeding tickets...all the cops ive met have been nice to me, ive been pulled over twice and have never gotten a ticket, i think part of that is that cops are a little envious of us young guys with cool cars, theres a certin amount of nastagia and heritage assoicated with domestics in this country that imports just dont have, thats my theroy anyway...just thought id offer it ;)

no its because they didnt want to waste their time and valubale taxdollars to process your ass, you werent worth it to them so they figured theyd scare the shit out of you and send you on your way as a life lesson...of course the fact that you coperated helped, if you had been a dick they wouldve thrown you in the back of that squad car no question..consider yourself VERY lucky! ;)

man i'm sick of this cat. i saw your post in the other thread too; the one about sequ shiters....yea, well reading that and then reading this i have something to tell you, and i'm just gonna say it one time: YOU DRIVE A DENTAL HYGENTISTS CAR!!! okay? you don't own a "sports car". what you drive is called a "pony car". these are really just smallish muscle cars. and seeing as how your's isn't even a V8, it's doesn't qualify as that either... now i know all the reasons to get a 6. and thats fine and cool. it's your car and you should have pride in what you drive, but i'm tired of you acting like you drive something you don't. i dont act like i have a mussle car...i have never posted lame street racing stories or made my car out to me anything more than it is, its slow, i know that, in fact ive even said that....yes my car is only a v6, i had my reasons for getting it, but dont put words in my mouth, i was making a general statment, it had nothing to do with me or my car in particualar...furthermore all mustangs are built on the same platform, the GT's and cobras have bigger engines and upgrades to the suspention and rear end yes there MORE of a sports car than the V6's but that doesnt mean that my car isnt one, it has RWD, a stick shift, and some decent power in it, it is no econobox! and it is NOT a chick car!...asshole :mad: and by the way, just what the fuck do you think a FOUR DOOR accord is? you dont have anything close to a sports car so shut your fucking pie hole

I havent got a ticket yet and i dont either want to. But if you get a bad ass cop hill try to screw you over so bad
and if your going over 100 mph they will arrest and suspend your license. When a cop whants to inevestigate your make sure hi has a warrent o permission telling you that he could inspect your car. If he doesnt have one its illegal.

EURMIR: the way they get aropund not getting permission or having a warrant is that they say its a random traffic stop or check point, and they "happened" that your car is the one being pulled to the side.

actually the law states that unless they have probable cause(ie you have a pipe siting on the front seat or somthing obvious like that) they cant search your car unless YOU give them permission, so if a cop ever says to you, "can i search your car" not only is it ok to say no, its your RIGHT to say no! i will never let a cop search my car :mad: rember if they ask, just say no!

I got my first speeding ticket yesterday. He pulled me over in my drive way. I didn't see him behind me, I thought I saw him turn around but I was not sure so I slowed down and when I didn't see him, I keep going until he caught up with me in my drive way. He said he was going to drop the fact that he had to chase after me because I actually didn't see him, but I did get a ticket for doing 62 in a 45. That is my slowest I usually do on that street. I usually do about 80. The cops are looking for me. The second time I saw a cop yesterday and they finally caught me. Boy were they happy to get me!!!!

Man, how about I got another ticket yesterday for doint 50 in a 30! This time they are lying. I know for sure that I was doing 30 because I thought it was a 25 zone. I was looking at my speedodemeter the whole time, I was looking so hard at it that I almost did not see them in front of me. I am going to fight this, they are wrong. I even saw them on the way home waiting for me! My mom hasn't seem them at all!! This is bull****!!!! :mad:

i got a ticket for doing 90 in a 50...that was before i got my own car...it was in my dad's car :(

and then i got a fixit ticket for not having my license with me, and a few days later another one for having a blue neon light on my roof inside and blue neon pedals...how GAY!!!

but anyways **** the neons...i could care less bout that **** now :p

got caught senior year in highschool on jan 4th, 2000..my new years resolution was to kick back on street racing too! Well, tow truck never came so no impound, but did lose my license for 6 months, traffic school, had to pay over $700 in fines, sold many things off my car to pay for it....definately not worth it!!!!
