The most important thing to remember is that peak horsepower means nothing, and gaining the greatest amount of area under the entire power curve is what makes your car faster. Never sacrifice total area under the power curve to go for all out peak numbers. Peak horsepower numbers sell cars, but broad power bands win races.

What is everyone's deal? Ok...it's fine that you have your own opinion and everything, which i understand...but what don't you like about them? I only have a D16z6 in my sol w/ i/h/e for a lil power gain...it's really not that bad <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif" alt="Razz" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::p--> Hopefully in the next few weeks i'll have my 93 grand am POS for the winter so my friend who has his own shop can port n polish my head. yeah...stockies need a makeover right away...that's why i tinted her out, tinted my tails and threw a set of wheels on her right away. well the guy said no i can't have it cuz he got a better offer so he can go **** a horse lol but im looking for a 93 to 97 del sol or a 91 crx my price rang is from 1,000 dollars to 3,000 dollars so if ya'll find one for me in texas message me or e-mail me ar Rebelk69@hotmail.com thnx

dude just get a CRX, you wont find a del sol in decent shape for under 3grand, but you can def find a beater CRX and fix it up <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::cool:--> look for an HX or mabey even an SI if you can find one for cheap, good luck <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:;)-->

I Love my Sol Its fun It handles well and its awsome in the summer. Just dont get an S model if you do get one do a swap even the SI is is better the Vtec head helps. But if you get the VTEC model sol for that price it prob has alot of miles on it mine had around 150000 miles on it and i did an engine swap about 2 weeks ago i had to put my civic DX engine in untill i get my Vtec motor rebuilt me and my buddy are taking it apart right now.
My new Del SOl Yall. Runs like a top even with the top off
