I just bought a 94 del sol VTEC, and the throw on the shifter is already pretty short to start with. i was wondering if anyone knew if a after market shifter with shorten the throw anymore?

my friend has one on his del sol. He likes it. I drove the car before and after the short shifter and it helped greatly its just a lil getting used to the first time you drive it because your expecting the shift to be longer. But it does help

There are a lot of Short Shifter alavailable of course, and you can get them from a number of sources....BUT....if you wanna stop by MY house, and see how many of them I have broke, you would know that there is a HUGE difference. The ONLY short shifter I reccomend is the B&M! I have used, DC Sport, AC AutoTechnic, and a few others, and all of them have broken off at the middle. The only one that has held it's own is the B&M, it has a great feel, and it just has a strong support. I have them for arounf $50 for your car if you want one, you won;t be dis-apointed!
