here's the whole car http://www.bestjapancar.com/honda11.htm. it's a place in japan that exports cars, this del sol is only $5,000! (take the price in yen and divide by 132 to get the US $ price)

Got to keep the del sol light, so I am glad we don't have this automated top. Plus we have alot of space in the trunk for other items. Just my 2 pennies

my dad used to have one, those things are fast in any trim line. i'd get one, but people treat them as if they are a BMW or something. they are like 'Oh, I've got a del Sol. I'm going to price it 3000 over what its worth because it's a Honda and it will last forever.'
fuckers

THAT SHIT IS HOT. I JUST WISH THAT THEY MADE THEM HERE. IF I COULD GET ONE OF THOSE, IT WOULD MAKE THE CONVERTIBLE SITUATION A WHOLE LOT EASIER.

err..thats kinda cool..i guess, but to me it seams like overkill, i mean how hard is it to remove the targa top? you could probetly do it faster than that hydrolic lift can....plus its heavy, and if that thing wieghts 3000lbs(stated in an earlier post) than that just sucks! my mustang wieghts 3000lbs and its got a bigger engine in it, the convertable models are closer to 3500 because of the hydrolic system that raises the top and the subframe conectors ford puts in it for structual suport...although with any targa/T-top/vert you will always get some amount of body flex, no matter how much its strengthed...so yeah for a little car the del sol wieghs alot...too much if you ask me..oh well just my .02

USDM del Sol doesn't weigh more than 2600, depends on the trim.
And that transtop adds 150 pounds. Tends to break down though, parts always falling apart, and heard its a hassle to get it up, parking brake has to be on, has to be in neutral, but its great show points.

Yeah del Scho's car looks bad ass, and now he has a carbon fiber trunk on it.
