haha, a lil OT, but i had a rear wheel drive delslow on gran turismo 1 on ps1! It was sweet 500+ hp rear wheel drive 6 speed!!!

why the fuck would you put a MR2 motor in a supra...those things are slower than grandma...geez thats like a step down..why?

the MR2 is a mid engine and the supra is a front engine.
it was just the Skyline powered Supra. or vice versa

a supra's body is very aerodynamic and the MR2's engine is good because it makes a lot of power. so aerodynamics plus power and light weight equals speed.

sorry but i this is where i disagree, yes a supra is aerodynamic, but an MR2 engine does NOT make alot of power...ive seen a fully built MR2 engine only put out around 300hp, and that was with a turbo and A LOT of work, face it its a four banger, the maxium amount of power you can extract from a four banger is somewhere around 400...the supra engine on the other hand doesnt wiegh that much more and makes considerably more power...an MR2 is a fun car, its light, it handels well, its mid engined, its a cool car, but puting an engine like that in a car that was built for a hi-po I-6 is guess what?...a step down, which is why i still dont get the point of doing such a swap

good luck, those things are hard to come by, especaly the turbos...most people beat em to death before they even think about selling them, plus the market was never really flooded with them...i like em there cool cars, but im a big guy and felt closterphobic in the one Mr2 i got to test drive, well hey like i said good luck finding one, try and get one with t-tops if you can..those thinks kick ass! :D

the mr2's are cool, but they are kinda hard to find. the only thing I don't like about them is the pedals are kinda tight together for my big a$$ feet. had to rip out the left foot rest so I could hit the clutch down all the way when I had my friend's mr2 turbo.
