Free motor for my car!!

Yes, I am so happy. One of my friends sold his '97 hatch with the '99 front end on it for $5500 to another friend, and he got the new '02 civic si hatch.

I was at his home the other day with the guy he sold the hatch to, and he said to give the motor out of the car to him (putting a GSR in it) and he said I can HAVE the motor. He told him I have not had a car in 2 months, and I need to go to work, so I will be getting it TUESDAY or WEDNESDAY and I am paying $200 instead of $300 to get this guy to put the motor in for me!!

its a good get around kinda motor and its only costing u 200-300 cant complain.

Thanks, and that is a good deal: free motor and only $200 to put it in. I feel so lucky, its in the back of my hatch waiting to be installed!! <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::)--> The crx will run again with no engine problems!! <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::)--> Now I am off to the Performance section to see what that motor redlines at. My stock was @6500. I searched and found either @6800 or @7100 for that d16y7 (did they come without tachs?) but I will ask to make sure. Thanks guys for your comments! peace.
