Sups all.. I just purchased a yellow (yes yellow) 1989 CRX Si.

Let me begin with what I want to do to the car..

Performance first: Dropping a JDM b16a Vtec 89-91 Si-R from www.jspecauto.com (http://www.jspecauto.com) with a EFB1 mount kit.

New axles, ecu, and transmission.

Thinking of dropping a skunk 2 suspension kit on it.

Too rice it up a little I'm slappin on a Aerogear HY-BRYD Body Kit (4 piece)

Other things include a 5 piece carbon fiber dash kit, 2 15" Rockford fosgate subs, 2 kickers and 4 tweeters, aswell as rims (as soon as i find the ones that make me cream my pants..)

Since its yellow and I don't see any yellow crx's around (everyone seems to go with white crx's) Im doing a yellow and bright blue combo trim.

Anyways I'm sure i'll be begging for answers later on, thanks for reading :P

Hey welcome to C.H. I want to start off buy giving you a good bit of info about your futher plans from my experiace. That skunk2 suspension idea, get rid of it. I have therelowering springs and there camber kit. Camber kit is great no complaints, but there lowering springs drop you to low and there coilovers bounce like crazy. Get ground cntrol coilovers. There the best in my opinion.. Anyone can say otherwise but i have there springs nd i can go in my driveway cause i scrap!!!!! :( I mean it looks great but its a real pain in the as$

Not to flame you, cause to everyone his own. But yellow and bright blue???? And all the performance you gain is gonna go down the drain for all the damn weight of 2 15" subs, lol, not really, but isn't that overkill? I personally think a good set of 12"s will out perform 15"s any day. BTW, i have never seen a white CRX that wasn't stock. But anyhoo, welcome to the board...nice to have more CRX owners. But for the love of god....RESIST THE RICE!!!

Yeah I was just thrown a suggestion about the skunk 2 suspension, but thanks I'll look for something else..

I do know its Vtec not Vtech I guess its just a spelling mistake, so if your post is about a 1 letter spelling error.. lol you have a lil too much time on your hands, but I do understand alot of people talk alot of crap and dont seem to know what the hell they are talking about.. Im about half n half ;)

The 2 15" subs I own already, and Im customfitting em with a lightweight material (forget the exact name) since I work at Home Depot (dont laff!) .. And the yellow and blue combo is something that looks SICK.. you just never see it, think of me as somewhat of a retarded pioneer.. Trust me I keep the rice to a minimum, no 5" chrome tip cannons on my ride.. heh.. And here's an example of yellow/blue combo..

Keep in mind it's an eclipse people, not a crx(duh) Thanks for the feedback guys, it is much appreaciated (excluding the spelling correction :P)

I've seen a few not so perfect cars in town with that same logo on them , just a bit curios about it , are those boys freinds of yours ?
one has a slamed grey 2001 Neon , theres also a primer grey crx , and a primer grey civic hatch.
